You’re doing agile wrong

AGILE when done wrong is just a fanciful word for MICROMANAGEMENT. If you don't reap the benefits for such a methodology, then what you are paying for in the process is not worth it. It certainly need more effort to run AGILE than WATERFALL, but the original idea is the productivity, clarity and agility to change is worth it. However often we don't see these benefits superseding the extra effort to execute it. It ends up as just mundane regimental ritual that goes on day after day, weighing down on the participants.

that's why I'm very dreadful about what daily stand-up meeting ... still prefer the old waterfall model way of doing things ...
