Old school way of rid off bedbugs, decades ago, my parents used 3-months of kerosene-soaked towels to complete edication of bedbugs.

Nowadays, the effective way is the pet-friendly borax/boric acid, totally odourless.

once the bugs in contact with the powder, they would die within a hour, their dead bodies remained toxic in their hiding place as their clan feed on the dead.
