受害人当晚将遭遇告知母亲，后者报警处理。卫生科学局后来也在受害人的衣物上验出被告的精液。

death penalty is overkill. it is not for the offender but for the victim.

If death penalty is impose, next time the offender(s) will simply kill the victim since that will reduce the risk of them getting caught as the penalty for murder and rape is the same.
