It seems they have no intention to provide those who have signed up prior August 2018 to have them on voice roaming unless one pays to change the SIM card. Correct me if I am wrong

Just to double check with the experts here, minimum need to use Zero1 1 month before can port out right? So if my service started Dec 1st, Jan 1st then can apply to port out to another telco? Or can I initiate the progress like a few days before that so that I can get the sim from the new telco just nice on the first few days of jan. TIA
I think you can port a few days after you sign up but you still pay for the whole month. No prorating.

They are rolling out the roaming next Feb or Mar for those who sign up prior to Aug 18 when I contact them to change my sim. According to their clarification, they say that the roaming will be push out to us and we will be placed on the new billing system.
They also offer to change sim foc if you are in need of the roaming and is not willing to wait so long. You may want to email them regarding the change of sim if you are keen. But bear in mind that they will schedule a date for you and you can only collect it from their office on the scheduled date.

That’s nice. Went a week in overseas with absolutely no signal.

hmm. i honestly don't mind paying the full month even. but just afraid that if I apply for port and it doesn't go through, it'll be super messy. :s22:

Asked Zero1 about porting out, "The minimum subscription period is 1 month. You can terminate thereafter anytime by writing to Zero1, giving us 30 days advance notice."

Guess that means have to tahan another 3 more weeks. :(

Port out should be no issue. You can port out anytime. Just that if you port out too earlier, they will also not refund you. Only if you cancel the line, then you will have to wait...

You can port out anytime. It's just that you will not get a refund for the amount you paid for the current month.

seriously? then they were just purposely saying that to extend my use. Thanks. i shall port out immediately. I don't even mind paying extra month 9.90 just to get out of this asap. lol.

Edit: anyone ported to starhub? I don't see the option of zero1 from their list. So can i just choose singtel?

Yeah. It's super annoying. Over weekend had more time to play game, and I see the network drop a few times in each game. I feel like mine is doing that every 10 mins of less. Then will see the "reconnecting.." message on ML, die a few times because of that too. I'm not a serious gamer, but Mobile Legends is pretty much the only game I play since some of my friends are playing it too. So when meet up will play together. The price of the plan is attractive, but man, this is too annoying for me.

I've not seen this issue with Circles.Life $0 plan, MyRepublic $8 Uno plan (even 0.25mbps throttled speed can play the game with no interruptions). To be fair, this is probably a singtel issue since I've noticed the same issue before (just not as often). Most users will probably be happy with the plan still and the value of it. The throttled data for normal usage is definitely way better than MyRepublic, but i'll probably port out once 1 month passes. :s22:

Recently like if I reboot phone the data take very very very long to connect back

Though my usage is more than 6GB now, surprisingly, when I am in ofc or raffles place mrt basement, my speed will be 100MBPS

Zero1 has frequent disconnections. internet doesnt load randomly. need to wait a few minutes then it works. i never experienced that on myrepublic, circles, starhub, or singtel.

thinking of porting out.
