Porting out of number do not need to terminate your zero1 line! U only terminate if u do not want the num and services

Sent from ⚡Ohm and iSwitch user since Nov 18⚡ using GAGT

It does lor.
I ported out from Zero 1 to Circles Life.
Did it all within the Circles Life app, and it is also mentioned in the app they will do everything for you including termination from the old telco and will let you know whether it is successful or not.

Yea I fked up :(

Still got chance if they havent cut your line.

Originally emailed zero1 to terminate my service.

Then on the 3rd day of the 7 day termination notice i realised number quite nice. Should just port over to circles life $0 plan (with a ****** up number).

Then i faster submitted my porting request thru the circles life app. 2 days later ported over successfully.

Just wondering if you guys managed speed recently took a hit?

I'm with one of the first few to get into zero1 with the 3gb to unlimited plan. And it's been actually okay(apart from freaking slow response from their team) however as of late their managed speed has dropped from 1mbps to 500kbps or worse which makes internet usage almost impossible. I'm okay with them slowing to 1mbps but this 500kbps is ridiculous.

Wow. Lucky i terminated my $19 Zero1 and kept my $8 Myrepublic.

Very nearly wanted to do the opposite.

Is it constantly at 500kbps after the 3GB data bundle?

No reason for u to keep hold of it, might as well spend another $5 and jump over m1 (30gb data + 1000mins call, +1000 sms etc)

No it's not a constant 500kbps. It sometimes goes lower even.

In certain areas tho it goes up to 600kbps.

Honestly I won't mind it so much if it didn't affect my experience with webpages or load times but I was once stuck with such slow data that I couldn't even load my work document (PDF and doc)

I actually ported over from circles. M1 network is Abit...fincky. I can have full to 4 bars of reception but have pages not loading before. I might port back but honestly I'm hoping they can solve this. Their slow CS response is regrettable and the main cause of the issue right now other than the slow speeds

Before i terminated my Zero1, it was constantly at 1mbps after the 3GB data bundle when doing Speedtest.

From what you described, looks like they halved it!

But after 6 months will increase to $13.90 then like not so worth it especially if the speed reduce too much. But anyway I only using zero1 for my spare phone

Depends ba.

Excluding Redone $8 for 2GB plan, the next cheapest plan is either GOMO $20 for 20GB

If you are the type that can't use up to 20GB, then essentially you are paying $6 (rounded) more for something you don't use, which will incur to $72 per year

Sometimes, not just about value for money but also, your usage pattern. If a person is not a heavy user and only uses messaging apps with wifi most of the time, then it is pointless to get a more expensive plan just because value for money

My 2 cents

Agree. The options allow user to get responsible to understand their usage pattern. Whatsapp/Google 2GB is sufficient. Some Video on the go will need 20GB. That is why Gomo is better than Giga; cheaper and enough.

Got pros and cons ba

RO runs on SH network and the 2GB is unlimited, capped at 128kbps, and can roam in Malaysia

Z1 runs on ST network and the 1GB is unlimited with managed speed with so far no roaming options and frustratingly, no app to monitor usage and bills

With wifi at home and office, even Whatsapp on its own per mth can even be lesser than 1GB because messages use very little kb

Ultimately, if you are a low-user, there is no need to go for big data plans even though it is more value for money, because cost is still cost.

My case, I don't even watch youtube on crowded peak hour trains and my spotify premium, I just download at home with wifi and listen to it offline mode outside, hence my used data is around 2GB-3GB at most
