Ok so I’ve emailed them to try and get more details and this was the response.

Our surprise gift will consist of a few vouchers for you. Would you like to drop by our Zero1 customer service centre or have us mail them to you?

Seems like these vouchers are physical vouchers and my guess is that they are vouchers of other brands/companies instead of Zero1 vouchers (that could be used to offset bill or something).

Hi all.

Is there any charges for activation and delivery fees if I port into 6.90 plan?
I ported my Dad’s line over from Singtel.
I didn’t opt for delivery. Can collect at SingPost outlet. No charges for activation and SIM card. Porting done once the very night after you have collected the SIM card.

Guys, I posted few days back regarding - receiving SMS while overseas, looks like Zero1 provide this service only to locals!!

Now I have to switch all my lines, which telco should I choose? I tried below telcos earlier and eventually found Zero having stable network!

• Changi Mobile - very poor network across SG
• Circles Life - poor network across SG
• Giga - bad network in East (specially my unit/condo)
• Gomo - sometimes no network
• Gorilla - very poor network across SG
• MyRepublic - poor network across SG

Postpaid Roaming is typically reserved for NRIC owners that's at least 18 years old. Foreigners either have no roaming or pay hefty deposits.

This is the industry practice, as there's known cases of fraud...

Wow... I never realised that telco restricted roaming services.

Zero1 just launched a new classic plan at $9.90 for 12 GB (+unlimited throttled data at 1 Mbps), 200 mins, 200 SMS. This plan replaces the previous 6u plan at $9.90 for 6 GB, 200 mins, 200 SMS.

Previously I saw an option to change to 12u plan back on 29th Aug 2022 but was removed shortly after. Guess it’s finally live now and called Zero1 Classic.

This new classic plan is probably meant to compete with the following plans.
  • GOMO $10 for 10 GB, 100 mins, 100 SMS
  • Vivifi Plus plan $9 for 9 GB (+unlimited throttled data at 256 Kbps), 350 mins, 200 SMS
  • Zym Starter plan at $9.90 for 14 GB (9 GB + 5 GB bonus) (with base data rollover), 400 mins, 200 SMS
  • CMLink $10.80 for 12 GB (includes 6 GB roaming for Singapore, China, Hong Kong), 100 mins (includes 100 mins local to China, Hong Kong, Malaysia, Indonesia, Thailand, USA), 100 SMS.
Vivifi Plus plan $11 for 20 GB (+unlimited throttled data at 256 Kbps), 400 mins, 200 SMS is still unbeatable though.

So far zero1 seems the cheapest with a $6.90 plan for light users. But need to submit the scanned photos of NRIC:unsure:.
