If you don't mind the longer process, you can port out to Giga or any other non-contract non-Singtel first, then port to 01 a month later.omg... then can i port to the starter plan, the upgrade to 4g plan?
No they have different 4 bill cycles. There is pro rate but only for the days within a particular bill cycle (not pro rate of the first month). See the last paragraph of my previous post.Hi!
Want to check on Zero1 billing/data cycle.
Do they do a pro-rated for the portion of the first month sign up then start the cycle on Day 1 of the next full month, like what RedOne currently do?
Do I have to port in at the point of sign up or is there an option to port in after getting a temporary new number?
Thanks, so if I want to have a billing cycle that starts on Day 1, earliest I should activate the plan is on 23th. Should I sign up for the plan on this date, or should I sign up earlier, get the sim card and wait to activate on 23th?No they have different 4 bill cycles. Yup earliest is 23rd of the month collect your SIM card from SingPost to activate the plan, so that you will be on the bill cycle 01.Thanks, so if I want to have a billing cycle that starts on Day 1, earliest I should activate the plan is on 23th. So basically I can like sign up now then wait to collect the sim card on next month 23th?Yup earliest is 23rd of the month collect your SIM card from SingPost to activate the plan, so that you will be on the bill cycle 01.
You will need to sign up the plan earlier, recommended about few days to 1 week earlier because after you sign up Zero1 will need some time to process your order and if there’s some hiccups like need to re upload NRIC it will delay the sign up process. There is no downside to signing up even 2 weeks earlier (for extra bufffer) because the plan only starts from the day of activation.
I think it should be possible but I am not sure if can hold the SIM card collection for that long as I never personally tested. Last time I signed up on 20th and collected SIM card at SingPost on 23rd. Why not just wait until next month to sign up? Maybe 1 week before 23rd April. So basically I can like sign up now then wait to collect the sim card on next month 23th?
Did the collection letter state to collect the sim card by what date?I think it should be possible but I am not sure if can hold the SIM card collection for that long as I never personally tested. Collection email never state any deadline, only state ready for collection starting from a date. But this was from sometime ago in July 2022 so not sure if any changes since then.Did the collection letter state to collect the sim card by what date?
Maybe I try to sign up like say around 10th April then.Collection email never state any deadline, only state ready for collection starting from a date. But this was from sometime ago in July 2022 so not sure if any changes since then.

This actually happened to me for almost 2 years. West area.I guess it is SingTel problem as a whole.
My SingTel line (not SingTel MVNO line) on the other phone keep losing signal the whole night, last night until early morning 5am.
After checking again, the Zero1 Terms and Conditions seem to have the answer:Collection email never state any deadline, only state ready for collection starting from a date. But this was from sometime ago in July 2022 so not sure if any changes since then.

SIM cards which are not delivered or collected within 4 weeks upon receipt of the delivery or collection email / SMS notification will be deemed as cancellation of order and no refund will be given.
At the moment only Singtel, GOMO and heya have the option to block incoming calls from overseas. What are the steps to block incoming international calls? Through the app or website?
