Just received my Zero 1!

So as for porting, i wait for Zero1 to prompt me right via sms.

Also My existing payment is from 12 Feb to 13 March.

Today is 16 March.

Do i have to pay for my bills for the next month? Or they will waive off or Zero 1 settle for me?

I am still waiting for the port since collectint the Sim yesterday around 11am to 12pm. Emailed their help desk twice, but never I received a reply for my 2 different questions

Existing bill for 12 Feb to 13 March you have to see if they charge you the subscription for 14 March onwards?

If yes then don't pay first. Wait for number porting to be completed, your previous Telco will bill you a pro-rated final bill.

If no, you can proceed to pay first. After number porting they will also bill you a pro-rated bill.

But if you just received your bill, high chance is this bill includes this coming month's subscription. So better is don't pay first. Wait for final total bill then pay.

How to don't pay first, zero 1 will charge to your credit card first.

Zero1 will start billing you on the date you receive your SIM card. It goes with a 30 days billing cycle. This info is emailed to me by zero1.

Tried with the link everyone posted earlier. But couldn’t work.

The link will only work after they send you the email/sms to ask you to register. They have fixed it already, so you no longer can just use the link without receiving the email/sms.

But in order for the number porting to be completed, you have to pay off any bills you owe to your previous telco. If not it will affect your number porting process and also you will be charged for the unsuccessful porting. That is what I read on the zero1 website. I hope someone from zero1 can give us some clarification on this.
