If you read the instructions that comes with the sim card, it say do not use the sim card till you receive an sms from singtel that porting is done.

Zero1 most likely had forseen this delay in porting of numbers to include such instructions.

What is the logic can not use the sim before porting over? This is not a norm. If this is the case, zero 1 should have just deliver the SIM card without activation and should bill useers only after successfully ported over. Horrible teleco

This is reply from Zero1: Meanwhile, you may start using the new SIM card with the temporarily assigned number if you wish to but you are advised to keep your existing line active as the port-in notification SMSes will be sent to it. All porting related notifications will be from Singtel. Upon successful port-in of your number to Zero1, you will receive a text confirmation. You can then start using your Zero1 SIM card. If you used the Zero1 SIM card before the successful port-in, please re-start your phone and the Zero1 SIM card will update itself automatically.

In cases like this, when does the billing start? Is it still the day the SIM was delivered, or the day that the number ported over?

I just receive my card. I insert into Sony Xperia XZ and no 4G network, VOLTE and stuck at super slow 3G speed.

Anyone know how to fix for Sony phone?

If you have put into the second slot, make sure the dual Sim settings is set to 4G
