Were u stationary? Even wifi speed differ from one place to another in a house.

I was in a moving bus. Today on a train I had intermittent too, so presumably its because I moved. But just now while I was home I had about a 5-10 second moment where I had no data connection at all while playing a game, it was pretty annoying.

I'm also currently burning my data to past 5GB and eventually past 10GB to do further testing. For others, you might as well just do your own tests, its not difficult, no need to rely on people's opinions, ownself confirm is the best.

Yes, everytime you insert your SIM into iPhone, your iPhone will send an sms for facetime/imessage.

I was charged for sending sms to those 5 digits local short code sms number e.g. 7xxxx for activation of banking service. This is not the norm. They better get their acts together.

Hmm.. For the facetime/imessage, any ways to avoid that? Because this is my spare sim card, so I don't want to get this unnecessary charge every time I change the sim, it doesn't make sense man.

It is a known issue for a long time. There is no way you can avoid. Either you put in the SIM then don't remove or don't use iPhone.

Highlighted is today's speeds after exceeding 5GB. Most of all my tests are done at home at my computer desk.

Again, I'm $19-3GB plan user, have also exchanged my SIM card last Friday to get roaming (didn't know it will be automated next month).

I might try going over 10GB to test, but I don't think its necessary at this point.

woah, seems like you have debunked previous users who said it will be 0.5mbps after 5gb. :s13::s13:

I also went to change my sim today, didnt know roaming will be automatically available next month....

Need some solid evidence for $29-3GB plan users..

Some claim $29 plan is not the same as $19 plan and will suffer reduce throttle speed..

Actually hard to say one. The speed will vary from places to places. Some area the reception is better and less people using the same network, then you can get good throttled speed. On the other hand, if your area has poor reception or many people using the same network, your throttled speed is slower.

For example, my office area has poor singtel reception, my throttled speed is bad. But when I am at my home, the throttled speed can get 1mbps.

Just go and try out yourself. Anyway, the plan has no contract, you can just port out after 1 month if the plan don't suit you. When you ask here, some people will tell you is good while others tell you is bad...

This throttled speed seems good, like the old Sim! Pls share more results after 10gb. I have been pondering for the longest time whether is it worth to change the sim or not since alot of people says the throttled speed is not as good...

Cannot believe what everyone say, fake news you know. Even if throttled, a lot of places got free wifi nowadays, and if you cannot watch videos/play your games for a brief period of time won't die also, can always do it when you get wifi. Just exceed and test for yourself.

You're on the $29 plan? The most solid evidence is the evidence you procure on your own. Everyone's mileage varies. Your wifi chip in your phone, geographical location also limits the speed you get, you might get better/worse speeds than my results depending on so many factors.

It's because there are so many negative comment on the throttled speed from those who are placed under the new system. Some people also say that the roaming will be push to everyone soon but when I check with zero 1,they say need to change sim card if not won't have roaming for sim issued under old system.

Hit 4gb and YouTube is still working fine. 360p is actually sufficient but 720p requires some buffering. In fact, I can't really tell about the buffers except during Instagram. It loads a bit when you view stories.

Just got onboard zero1, on the 1gb plan... i wonder whats the speed like once i exceeded it.

Sound promising.

4. Getting slow speed after first 1GB / 3GB of data?
Mobile data speed for the first 1GB / 3GB of data will be provided at 4G/4G+ network speed. Thereafter, data speeds is managed to ensure all subscribers enjoy a smooth data connection regardless of the network utilisation. While the network speed varies, you will still be able to enjoy your normal usage like checking emails, using What'sapp or even watching videos on Youtube or going to Facebook.

I quite sure the the telcos network capacity is never overloaded.

Singtel had a free data day on the 10th this month and the network that day was fine.
