anyone got issue with app like youtube main page / search not loading after throttling? Speed shows 0 kbps and prompt error but if got direct link, then the videos can stream and d/l speed around 0.7mbps.

just signed up for the 9.9 plan for my grandma, imo the fact that it is impossible to exceed the data cap is the most important factor. bandwidth wise she does watches youtube but honestly i dont think she will complain about 360p or even 240p.

another factor is not bounded to any contract, if tpg does make it in the middle of next year can just cancel it and go with their free sim promo for the elderly.

No longer getting 1mbps for <3gb

Averages 100kb/s

Anyone facing the same?

100kBps or 100kbps? 100kBps(125kBps) is similar to 1mbps.

Just done (throttle) speed test on 1GB and 3GB plan, 1GB is slower.

YT video speed is okay but issue for me is cannot even load main page / search.

they still have bad CS service after so many months... my email to them take 3-4 days to reply till now after i replied thier email no response as well....

is OK one ..yr email just state the date u start and give 1 month notice till wat date will do ..they will follow the date .

no need, so long you fulfill at least 1 month bill with them you can port out or cancel.

Emailing them the port out date / telco name will ensure further billing from their system. I am not sure pro-rating the money back of the balance days still valid for zero1 it was before when i ported out august.

Still need pay caller id though, more like 12gb for $20. It’s good if use less than that

see...? that is why i say... why it is okay for caller ID to be optional and then u save on the monthly subscription...

other telcos the normal monthly plans give "free" caller ID... is actually more like the caller ID cost is bundled in liao and cannot be opted out... then they just call it "free" ...

TPG said it will offer free mobile service for a year to the first 20,000 who register their interest with the telco.

The SIM-only plan includes unlimited data and unlimited mobile-to-mobile calls, it added. However, data at 4G speeds are capped at 2GB, after which it will be capped at 1Mbps on a daily basis. There will also be 20 local SMS messages and 20 minutes of outgoing calls to local fixed lines each month, it added.
