Thanks

I agree with most of your points except the last point about 56K modem. Haha

Whose clone are you?
You never scroll back on his thread to read my review on zero1 and the review given by the others?

You are not sharing your personal experience. You are exaggerating to the point of talking nonsense and misleading people.

Port out from Zero1

Hi all,

Some advice pls.

I am porting out from Zero1 to Circles Life.

Under donor telco, I will select Singtel right?

Will I need to inform Zero1 or the account will auto terminate?

Will I need to pay Zero1 the 1 month notice fee?

Thank you.

Zero1 1gb has one serious problem. It's switches to 3G H+ and randomly cuts off your internet connection .
Happen to me multiple times on random locations .Could it be my apn settings?
Not sure if it's part of its new data limitations strategy.
Good thing is it's unlimited speed is up to ard 120KBs compared to MR uno 30-40KBs(not even 56KBs) which barely loads anything .

What I dont like about Zero1 is their customer support is like a cui. Any issues need deal with email and they are not the best at replying. Until now i still got no bill.... damn scare bill shock.

Ok la. Their $9.90 quite reasonable in terms of their usage.

Nothing comes good when its cheap :s22:

just spent the whole day testing it and it is looking good thus far.

firstly, there will be minimal support and service provided by zero1, have some problem with the delivery by xdel and they did not respond to my email even 2 weeks later.

performance of full 4g plus speed is very good which is expected since its singtel infrastructure after all. as a matter of fact each speedtest run will burn through almost 200MB of your 1GB quota.....

managed speed is just about usable, whatsapp call works fine for both audio and video. youtube runs fine at 480p, would even run at 720p if its not 60fps. netflix will stream mostly at 540p with very rare drop to 432p.

web browsing is hit and miss, depends on if the site loads in stuff progressively or tries to load all the content at once. Almost certainly will need to use a browser with some form of ad blocking thou or else each page load is literally a few seconds longer.

overall, i feel that the lowest tier plan is worth it if you just need the bare minimum to get by.

thou it may sound counter-intuitive, if you use more than 10gb of data per month this is not the plan for you (unless you are streaming video/audio consistently but then again the throttling will get worse as well). rather than getting your money's worth you are just extending the suffering over a longer period.
