Anyone ported over from Vivifi to Zero1? Am on Vivifi for 2 months and surprisingly my data was utilised very fast during the 2nd month even though seldom outside and once exceeded the given 9gb, the data speed dropped tremendously to the state that i can barely surf outside
unlimited internet on vivifi plus not suppose to be 4g speed it is for probably just sending messages the most .. so you are asking about z1 or vivifi ? if vivifi you are on the wrong thread..

Zero1 just launched a new classic plan at $9.90 for 12 GB (+unlimited throttled data at 1 Mbps), 200 mins, 200 SMS. This plan replaces the previous 6u plan at $9.90 for 6 GB, 200 mins, 200 SMS.

Previously I saw an option to change to 12u plan back on 29th Aug 2022 but was removed shortly after. Guess it’s finally live now and called Zero1 Classic.

This new classic plan is probably meant to compete with the following plans.
  • GOMO $10 for 10 GB, 100 mins, 100 SMS
  • Vivifi Plus plan $9 for 9 GB (+unlimited throttled data at 256 Kbps), 350 mins, 200 SMS
  • Zym Starter plan at $9.90 for 14 GB (9 GB + 5 GB bonus) (with base data rollover), 400 mins, 200 SMS
  • CMLink $10.80 for 12 GB (includes 6 GB roaming for Singapore, China, Hong Kong), 100 mins (includes 100 mins local to China, Hong Kong, Malaysia, Indonesia, Thailand, USA), 100 SMS.
Vivifi Plus plan $11 for 20 GB (+unlimited throttled data at 256 Kbps), 400 mins, 200 SMS is still unbeatable though.
I'm on 6u and see no option to switch to Zero1 classic despite it being the same price. Only upgrade options. Does anyone have experience changing?

Maybe the option to change plan via the dashboard is only available for upgrading to higher tier. I am on starter plan and able to see all the plans that are currently available.

You can try to email Zero1 via billing@zero1.sg or yes@zero1.sg or alternatively you can create a ticket via their ticketing system (you have to create account as it is not the same account as your Zero1 login).

Note that you may need to pay an administrative fee (which should be $10.80 now) to change plan as per their FAQ.

After a few months with them, so far so good, quite happy with the speed even in crowded MRT.

This speedtest was done on 31 Dec

I did not buy any data roaming from zero1. I changed SIM card for data in USA. When I need bank OTP, I changed back to zero1 sim to get the OTP.
Is there any setting that you need to enable on the phone side? Like enable roaming? Or doesn't need to be enabled to support receiving these SMS OTP while overseas?

Usually SMS don't need to enable anything.

01. Make sure the line is connect to a local Telco
02. Shortly SMS should come in

Do take note that not all Zero1 plan allow you connect to overseas telco. (read it somewhere can't find.)

This is a bit deceiving, so it’s only $3 off per month for 3 mths making it $22.15/mth. Not particularly attractive.

Don't think they will refund to credit card, most likely remain in your Zero1 account until you use their service again then will be used to offset. You can try to ask if can withdraw by any other means.
