it's the area you are in. Not all areas are covered with SA.

Try going outdoors or shopping malls, you can get SA.

The 5G SA seems to be stabilizing nicely for the last 3,4 days or so.

At least, I don't get disconnected totally at all likes previously.

VoNR / VoLTE is gone again for a moment

How long is the "moment"? If very short, then it could be just transition from 5G SA to 5G NSA and then back to 5G SA.

Actually it may be a good idea to disable VoNR for a while during this transition period, even if your phone supports VoNR.

If you still encounter VoLTE drop after that, that will be strange.

not even a transition. Normally during places with no VoNR, it will seamlessly transit into VoLTE.

But these few weeks, the issue is totally no VoNR or VoLTE. Today only a few minutes, last week it lasted even longer.

Looks like this month and next month will be the transition period for 5G SA.

Today even my Singtel prepaid 5G got 5G SA. Previously it only gets 5G NSA. Singtel still organizes daily roadshows for Singtel Prepaid Card customers to upgrade to 5G+ SIM Card until 28-Feb-2026. I tend to think they may have futher roadshows in March 2026.

5G SA deployment:
Singtel > Singtel MVNOs (Zero1/Zym/VIVIFI/CMLink) 5G plans > Gomo 5G Plans > Singtel Prepaid 5G plans

Looks like Singtel and Singtel MVNOs can deploy 5G SA to all customers by 31-March-2026.

On the other hand, I am very doubtful that Singtel can really shut down 5G NSA by 31-March-2026. I doubt they can really sort out the issues in March 2026. If they do that, we may see more switching between 5G SA and 4G LTE down the road, which may drain more battery compare to 5G SA to 5G NSA switching.

Starhub/M1 may probbaly be possible to shut down 5G NSA by 31-March-2026, since the 5G NSA network for them are not that as important.
