What wrong did they do? Give so many benefits at $10 or $15 no contract. Last time $30 plan with 100min no roaming 24mths contract, everything has gotten more expensive n shrinkflation, only telco plans have been getting cheaper and more benefits. Haha.

But police is still doing police work, but u see less of them patrolling the streets. Same for telcos, still providing u with telecom needs at faster speed, but at a lower price. So be grateful. Look at other countries like USA or UK, their telco costs are still high like when the police wear shorts.

It's specific to iOS because there needs to be RCS enabled in the Carrier profiles.
What are they thinking, in the current era, SMS is rarely used. Most use instant messaging apps like whatsapp or telegram nowadays. How much can they earn with SMS? Now simba even have unlimited sms, some mvno also have tons of free sms. Don't think is monetisation issue.
When you can charge $0.80 each overseas roaming SMS, it remains very profitable
