zotac gpu burn smell

I bought this 1070 from carousell last year . seller say have should have 1 year left for warranty by tech dynamic

so he give me bare cards without box or anything just a tax invoice / receipt that he bought from a company call valefore technology then he tear down and sell parts

so I went to search this website no more listing le.. company also gone.. the gpu no tech dynamic sticker or anything.. only got the RoHS sticker

so can still claim warranty ? or totally gone case le?

the receipt tax invoice written it bought on 28th September 2018

edit: first time buy gpu from reseller.. didn't know have to take note on what things

edit 2: everything stock settings, never overclock.. only watch YouTube and play low settings games then suddenly auto pc off then cannot on anymore

You'll need to check with TD themselves with the serial number.
There's a possibility your PSU is the cause also

Is the receipt for a complete PC? If OEM, there is no separate warranty.

it seems like a complete pc. In the receipt I saw other pc parts like cpu and motherboard etc. not sure about whether its OEM not..

the seller just say follow receipt can le if want rma.. but other than the RoHS sticker I cant find any way of detonating this gpu is from tech dynamic warranty

You'll need to check with TD themselves with the serial number.
There's a possibility your PSU is the cause also

change psu already .. confirm not psu. I even go buy new motherboard also same. email TD no response .. might try ask in their fb page later

if you don't mind the hassle going down to TD it's worth giving a try. I also bought my zotac 1070 mini 2nd hand from carou without any box or invoice (seller claimed still under warranty) then about a year later the shroud came off. Went down TD and they just took in no question asked. Just that turnaround time was about a month cause they had to send back to taiwan to get it fixed.

I don't mind send back for a month. as long as it's fixed and usable again haha

but your gpu got any stickers that denote TD or anything like that?

The 1070 that I purchased from VideoPro previously did not have any TD sticker, just the one on the box that mentions the 5 years warranty. It does have a serial number sticker.

ya super series. zotac gtx 1650 super 4gb $250 after voucher and stuff. if can rma at least got gpu to use meanwhile waiting

I don't think there is anything wrong with Zotac. Been using Zotac for quite a number of years with no issues. Issue with second hand graphic card has nothing to do with Zotac as well.

Bro, yours in sep 2018 still within 2 years so will have warranty. But need to tell TD the serial number for them to confirm If the card is valid under them.
BTW, when new card arrive remember to register online for the extended warranty.

I've had two zotac cards and they work well so far, have to admit their cooling is not the best but it does the job
