Zotac gpu warranty

Bought zotac 1060 a couple of years ago. Remembered u need to register or else they wun honor the extended warranty.

The extended warranty is by manufacturer, so u need to send back to their HQ in HK.

The local warranty support is top notch (the first 3 years). U bring in to their office, they run some tests, and they do a 1-1 replacement if they assessed that it is indeed faulty.

Exactly what is happening to me right now, except that I couldn't remember if I registered for the extended warranty.

Emailed tech dynamic to enquire but had yet to receive a reply. Will give them a call soon I guess.

I thought Extended Warranty is registered at Zotac website.
Why ask Tech Dynamic?
You should ask Zotac whether your card can RMA as they're the one covering the Extended Warranty.

Oh my. This begs the question, are graphics cards, motherboards and stuff that comes with a free redeemable game a way of getting us to register our warranty or is it completely not related?

Similarly to a warranty registration, they do ask when & where you buy it and even ask for a picture of the receipt. Is this considered as a warranty registration?

Tech Dynamic is the Singapore distributor.

Was told that it is 3 years warranty standard for Singapore. I think it covers products bought even before the change of standard as they did not mention anything about it?

Or maybe I misinterpreted something somewhere

ya 3yr.. but u will get 2yr Extended Warranty IF U HAD registered at Zotac website


Extended Warranty need to self register yourself within 7 or 14day? If u did not do it, u only got 3yr

If u had SELF register the Extended Warranty, u will receive a email from zotac.

dunno... just like normal day, using pc lor than suddenly blackout...
open up and got burn smell but no smoke le.

i hardly use it to play game also.. so nt sure y is burn.

sg side say if not burn, than they will do 1 to 1 exchange for me.. since is burn, they send back to tw and repair lor.

Is it still covered by warranty if burnt? I would not have thought so.
