Zuji vs Expedia

This is very encouraging to hear. I tried BPG (can't remember on agoda or Expedia) and failed as they say the TnC doesn't match, which I can't understand why. After that I never bother about BPG anymore.

Oh and I think Agoda reward is better than Expedia. The points doesn't translate to much earnings on Expedia if it's not an Expedia+ hotel

OT: Tried Jetstar BPG equivalent twice and it worked just fine Very pleased with my purchase.

Agoda reward is not very attractive ...
you need 12500 points to redeem usd 25 ...
1usd is 20 points. hence u need 625 usd to earn that usd 25 ...

Why not try sg.hotels.com , join as member every 10 nights stay get 1 night free (base on the average prices of the 10 nights).

Free 10 nights , price is based on average of 10 nights, before taxes
For example,
if a hotel price is $ 100 , taxes is $ 15 = $ 115
You book 10 nites = 115*10 = 1150
Your free night 1000*0.1 = $100
hence your free nites is less than 10% of your total booking amount

Hotels.com useful for certain hotels - Cluster A
Expedia discount is useful for certain hotels - Cluster B

If you book more, you would be able to judge which would be a better option ... Personally, would use expedia more often than hotels.com

price difference was $60 each, so savings were $120

BPG refund was confirmed within 24 hrs of claim submission !

ya. this is my 2nd time claiming

so in your case, Expedia was twice as expensive as the lower cost option !
mine was just 25% more expensive !

Yup ... cox sometimes expedia price can be at least twice more expensive than other sites ...

can i ask how they refund? for example i already book the flight and place and paid the amount via cc. if i find a cheaper option be it flight cost or hotel cost, i can e-mail them about it with the other party website as proof? than they will refund back to your cc or ur account?

its for hotel only OR flight+hotel bookings .. not for flights only.

u need to have booked on Expedia first

anytime within next 24hrs, if another website has lower price, follow the link to submit a claim, provide details of website etc

for my case, they replied within 48hrs to say they acknowledge lower price & refunded 2 x Difference back into the CC used for booking

Personally, I simply go to the travel site that offers the lowest prices for hotels. Anyone has expedia or zuji discount codes to share? Need to book hotels for upcoming trip to new zealand

expedia 12% off using Mastercard ... google for it

pls note for each booking, 12% only applies to 1 room.
So if u have multiple rooms, book separately.
12% is applied on the spot !

Try FEBTASTIC (12% off) from Zuji discount codes or MAYBANKHOL (10% off) from Expedia discount codes Useful for discounts at hotels but not so much for apartments or houses. Might be better to seek air bnb for apartments or houses. NZ have many nice apartments and houses and you ll be spoilt for choices.

Very useful for my Frank Card Exactly what I need. Reckon I will try hotels for Wellington and Christchurch and check out Airbnb for the other destinations on my route trip.

if all else being equal, go for Expedia over Zuji

their after sales customer service is extremely good ! (refer to my first post here)

I know Zuji flights have a booking fee. Cant recall now does Zuji hotel have similar booking fee ?
