Most operate a share cab service for 350NT pax/way. I was quoted such in Jul 2012.

there's a bus service from nearby the zuoying train station, why not take that if you have time? cheaper.
but if you have say 3-4 people you can get a cab and bargain to get a better price. The bus numbers/details can be found here. it's quite a long ride (1hr ++)

Bus ride takes longer n surely more than the hour. Even car ride takes 2-3hours on e road. Unless that bus ride is e 臺灣好行，if kena local bus,will sleep for a nong nong time

台灣好行 is quite recommended, it is fast, convenient, and cheap.

i think there's a bus 88? and an express bus. these 2 buses were what i saw last month when i went to Kenting..

alternatively you can take a cab.. which me and my friends did. because the bus ticket costs us NT347/pax, and the cab driver offered us NT350/pax, we took up the cab driver's offer.. once you come out of zuoying or kao hsiung station i think these drivers will flock to you one..

most of the time the driver will get more ppl together.. the last time 3 of us guys waited in his mini-van (that's right, his is a mini-van instead of a taxi LOL) for around 8mins before he returned with 2 mainland china girls.. all of us heading for the same destination

Hello, I will be going to Kenting this month. Total of 3adult and 1child at 10years old. Could anyone advise to take the bus to Kenting or get a private car to go over. Is there any good driver with good rate to recommend me. Thanks in advance.

I think you get me wrongly. If alone taking the ecpress bus should be fast n cheaper. But now we have 3adult n 1child 10years old. I just want to find out a good driver with good price which may be cheaper.

I doubt cheaper.
If u need to go, i recall they charge like 2k one way.

And not sure if express bus got price for 10 year old kid.
The alternative, take train to fangliao, then cab to kenting.
I supposed this may be worthy.

when we were waiting for bus (return tickets bought) back from kenting to kaohsiung, a pte car driver came to us and said we can use our tickets to pay for his ride. He can get another 2 tourists to 拼车.

in the end, he got 2 korean tourists heading to kkh airport and we continued our journey to kkh station.

our coach tickets are bought near kkh metro station. They have many timings to go kenting.

the driver took our tickets and went to the ticket counter at kkh. I believe it works like return the tickets n get refunds.

Damn good.
Not all places can do such away. Then i think he use the refund to cover up his costs abit.
Since maybe he is charging the koreans, your pick up is like additional to it.
