Just tried some 1440p samples on YouTube, smooth playback, no buffering here in East (Bedok).

Anw, does anyone know how to resolve this Intel N-7260 wireless issue? Down can't get more than 32 but uplink can hit upto 110 :s22::s22::s22:

Try directly downloading a file to check download speeds?

Anyone from Orchard Exchange having Internet access issues?

I guess I'm the only one in Orchard exchange having issue. I reported issue to NOC on Saturday afternoon (28/5) and got a call from NOC on Sunday morning (29/5). NOC said everything was fine at their backend including VQ's equipments at Orchard exchange. NOC will send someone to my place to check the Zhone modem and to take signal readings.

Kudos to VQ for the fast response, they managed to get an engineer down to my place this afternoon (30/5). The verdict was there were no signals coming out of the fiber optics cable. According to the engineer, there are two possibilities: (1) The connection between my fiber optic cable and NLT's circuitry at my unit's riser had been tampered with. Or (2) Something is wrong with NLT's part of the equipment at Orchard Exchange that delivers the signal to my home. VQ cannot check both (1) and (2) as those equipments are under NLT's jurisdiction. VQ will escalate my issue and notified NLT to rectify the issue at NLT's equipment.

All these seems like a stroke of bad luck until I remember that I had just ported my mobile number from Singtel's SIM only plan to Circles.Life last Friday (27/5)!!!

All in all, I must say I am happy with VQ NOC's handling of my issue and their fast response.

You are welcomed.

From their latest facebook ad:
Long-time followers know you can always expect amazing offers - but this round might just blow you away.

Haha. I'm a long time subscriber, but recent subscription offers always exclude current subscribers. "Sorry you are on contract". Dunno what they gonna blow us away with this time. More unexpected downtimes perhaps.

What's wrong? Didn't u see how fast they respond to customers above? Or u wanna listen to some "customers" seeded by other ISP (maybe they got reseller commissions) to make your decision?

No ISP will be perfect, but many fall short on customer service.

On another note.. My onevoice has been down a few days alr.. VQ has been troubleshooting for me since i called in two days ago, with a daily follow up.

Anyone else has issue with the grandstream VoIP device?

Credit where its due.

Connection has been stable for the past 2-3 weeks++ and speed has mostly recovered to original speeds.

Where this came from:
ViewQwest - which has so far been focusing on ultra-fast plans with surfing speeds of 1Gbps or higher - said it is set to offer a 350 Mbps fibre broadband plan for $29 a month tomorrow. "This group of users may not need high-speed plans, but they will be looking to switch to a good fibre broadband provider," said Mr Vignesa Moorthy, chief executive of ViewQwest.
