Problem(s) with your S7/S7 Edge

i had similiar problems also. its true that the call is connected very fast if the other party u are calling is also on VoLTE or ip phone. but there are times that the call quality will break up and become distorted during the call.. happned quite often, especially when calling hotlines.

i tried turning it off and the call quality issue was gone.

With Volte, my call quality was terrible.
Turn off Volte and call quality was much better so now I disable Volte permanently. using S7 (Singtel).

Guys volte is not just hardware, it's also telcos. But if I recalled correctly, volte is enabled for all 3 telco. Our sg data network is already crappy, so I don't see how volte is beneficial for us, consumers.

Erm sg data network crappy meh.. which telco is it sia..

For me the VoLTE improves slightly on call quality, especially when your environment is all filled with noise..

You might wanna anticipate VoWIFI or when HetNet comes into the picture, hopefully that improves the experience bah..

Hi ,my s7 edge die this morning cannot power on even with charging cable on it ,how to fix it ?

Got my new s7.. And it keeps hanging everytime I use it..
Any idea if I can bring it back to Samsung and get a 1 for 1 exchange?

Sucks man.. just went to samsung to check my phone.. they reinstall a new software for me.. and told me it should be working fine alr... just got home and happily transfer all my data and now the same problem comes back again... waste my time...

lol this problem is almost the same as the problem I have with my S6 and it dragged on for 2 months. My problem is "ghost back button presses" where sometimes it will randomly jump out of apps/folders to home screen as if somebody press the back button but of cus I wasn't doing that.

Went to Samsung service centre (I'm gonna call it SSC) 1st time. They say corrupted software and reinstall OS say wait 1hr to collect. Collected, went home after few days same prob.

Went to SSC 2nd time, they say they change screen (with back button). Say they need monitor 3 days. I ask them to change new set but they said not their policy. Went back 3 days later to collect. Screen changed. Problem arise a few days later again.

Went SSC 3rd time. Say they need monitor for 3 days again. 3 days later went back. Changed mobo, backglass but not screen. My backglass can be said to be unique cos no imei number printed on it and have the galaxyS6 branding like those in the US. V cool. Collected but the screen popped out from chassis 1 day later. (Most prob cos when they open the phone they need to pry open the screen causing it to bend and it wont5 stick)

Went SSC 4th time. Say wait 3 days for screen changing. Went back 3 days later to collect. Thought over le. Quite happy but the ghost back button thing came back and screen popped out again wtf. I was damn pissed by now.

Went SSC 5TH TIME. I know the staff vvv well be now. Met the manager say they will look into the problem. Went back 5 days later and they changed the mobo, screen, chassis, backglass (basically the parts can build new phone from scratch lol). Before collecting I noticed the colour under the back glass got scratches so need wait 1hr there for them to change. Collected and I v happy cos they changed everything lol.

I was wrong. The sides of the screen popped out again. Went 6th time. Pissed off and they say they will escalate the matter. Waited for a few days and they said they will change a total new set. New set has been fine till now phew!

So I went to the SSC 12 times in total over 2 months+. Transferring data here and there from the S6 to the spare phone they provide. (S3 mini.. and it sucks) Plus all the time calling them and waiting at the SSC. Damn sian. Hopefully ur prob can be resolved soon sia. If Samsung just replace new set for me from the start I think they save more than spend lol! All the parts can almost build 2 new phones..
