Problem(s) with your S7/S7 Edge

Hey guys, I just wanna find out if any of you are experiencing any similar issues with my phone (S7 Edge). Or if you know anything to help, that'll be great too.

1. My phone sound mode keep changing by itself
My Edge is pretty much stock, so no, I didn't use any app or set any settings that would make the phone switch sound profile. The situation is that while my phone is still on sound mode (not vibrate nor silent), once in a while the phone will stop making screen on/off sounds, notification sounds etc. When I check the volume setting, it's neither adjusted nor changed (I always set it to max)

2. Only just happened today, but the phone restarted by itself. Once again, I did not set any auto-restart function or any sort. I was trying to open a game app (which I've played numerous times on the phone) but it hanged for a bit then restarted.

Pretty bumped by these issues, as my G2 had none of these.

For problem (1), some apps can customize the ringtones and notification tones. Even if you have set the default ringtone/ notification tone for the phone, the app itself may override the settings of the phone. This may "confuse" the phone resulting in issues with the ringtone or notification tone. The best is to check every app and manually set the ringtone and notification tone or whatever sound options there are.

For problem (2), this happens to other phones too, not just Samsung phones. This is due to the app causing the phone to crash. People have reported in the past FB crashing their phones, YouTube crashing their s7 phones, IG crashing their phones, etc etc etc. Not just limited to S7 / S7 Edge.

Try charge to full. Then try again. Probably battery flat or something.
If still the same then battery flat le

For the past one week. The phone in all seems fine.

Only one thing that gets my phone goes into hang state till need a force restart. That is chrome. For some reason it hangs my phone when I access it. But its in random time.

Yesterday the phone auto restart once.

Ah that's what actually happened for my first point! I couldn't turn on the phone for a few minutes, but after that I could turn it back on.

As for the keyboard on WhatsApp, that hasn't happened to me yet..

Saw on lowyat forum , some user complain Facebook apps is causing battery drain ? Does anyone face this issue for sg set ?

I encountered this issue with my samsung phone before, send in for repair and the problem was resolved after they replaced the motherboard.

hmm... it is just 1 day old, just hope it is a one off, will monitor and hope it magically goes away. Else no choice got to send back to samsung

It is this kind of qc issues that cannot be detected at the telco store that pisses me off.

Guess mine is just minor..the led notification light is not working properly. Sometimes on and sometimes off.
Samsung service centre ppl said it is nothing wrong after few checks. *seeat*
BTW, my Samsung s view cover is no longer showing some light pattern to alert me when there is missed call or small.

Mine has the irritating BATTERY BADLY DAMAGED notification from DU battery every 1 hour. Anyone has any idea how to fix this "virus". I have already check the notifications page and deselect everything but the notification still occurs.

aiya for god sake pls un-install this DU thingy.

you dun have install such an app to monitor the battery.

it's taking up extra resources from your phone.

and furthermore this is MIC app fyi.
