What are the advantages of kabylake mobos versus skylake mobos?

If its a 100 series board, you need a BIOS update with the kabylake processor whitelist. Maybe the shop can help you flash.

Because of budget issues

if skylake boards are able to do the job and the kabylake motherboards don't have any significant edge over it .... More justifiable to get the previous fen ones

..... No where near cheap either. Unless you are looking at a h110 board. Else no point. There is no price droped. Lastly lesser benefits. Apart from that h210 boards will be coming in to replace the h110 boards.

If this is the case, why not go with Skylake CPUs and mobo? Or since you confirm not going for overclocking, go with non-K CPUs

Or even go 2nd hand market for Haswell stuff; can take advantage of slight price reduction of DDR3 RAM somemore

..... No where near cheap either. Unless you are looking at a h110 board. Else no point. There is no price droped. Lastly lesser benefits. Apart from that h210 boards will be coming in to replace the h110 boards.

So far Intel hasn't had H210 in their ark.intel catalog. Just like 9 series only got Z97 and H97 . Should be no refresh.
