4G DATA SERVICE ACTIVATION

Is this for people who wish to use data on the prepaid? Do I need to activate it? I have no data plan, using the original 4G SIM Mcard $15($18 value).

It's already activated for you.

It's for 3G M Card customers that wants to use free data plans on 4G, if they don't have the 4G paid data plans.

For 4G M Card customers (activated since last year iirc), there's no need to activate alr.

Note: Disable 4G on your device for your M Card without data, because data charges may apply even with data off.

Check your usage in M1 Prepaid Portal or though *100*2#.

Oh, but switch off data in *100# will terminate all data transfer and not be chargeable. Note: Free data or paid data, you're not allowed to access the web until you manually enable data.

4G will be put on hold too, therefore you'll only get M1 3G.

Depends on how much data you use. If a lot(>5GB?), then postpaid with data upsize plans might be more worth it.
