Anyone after update to OREO, my WiFi seems not working properly.
It can't connect to my router which
I have not encountered before.

Have updated to Oreo too, not much difference for me so far. By the way, how do you turn off the Android System Notification on the top left corner?

Tried, same thing. It can connect than a short while it disconnect.
Haizz... maybe need to send in. :(
Just trial and error testing.
Have you deleted the device from the router side first, then reconnect using your mobile again?

Is the double tap to wake and double tap to sleep still available after the update to Oreo? I haven't updated mine as I use these functions quite a lot.

Done that but doesn't work.
Xperia support suggest me to reset the WIFI setting somehow work.
But I will monitor if still cannot may have to do another repair.

For the software update I did a software repair to install OREO
but not through OTA or update through Companion software.
Didn't expect to encounter WIFI problems.

I was thinking in the same direction that the router may recognize your device name however after the upgrade something in the device ID may have changed.
That was why I suggest to wipe off your device name from the router and reconnect.
However that did not work maybe it is still cache somewhere in the router.
Therefore, last thing is to reset the router and reconnect all the devices.
So hope this works, therefore no need further repair on the mobile.
Please share your outcome.

Hello, my mom is XZ user, but after updating to Oreo yesterday, she kept having this persistant "Android system notification" notifying certain apps are running the background. I couldn't find any way to remove or disable this notification. Does anyone has any idea? I tried to Google for solutions but can't find any...

Edit: Never mind, I found the workaround! :D

After 2 days of usage, Oreo consumes more RAM than Nougat.
I find that the battery life is slightly better than before though. Need more time to assess.
Hopefully December patch will be better!

Same thoughts may do this when I am free.
