Huh? Confirm this is running Android OS. It isn't running iOS. :s13:
Android One is something like stock Android without any skins on top with supposed faster updates.
But don't you guys find that this phone feels like a crippled flagship? A flagship without NFC . :s22:

I don't use NFC other than connecting to my speaker for the 1st time :s13:
If I'm given a choice between a faster SOC or NFC, I'll pick better SoC since NFC doesn't really improve the performance or display of the phone.

It's a budget flagship, can't expect everything in it but maintained at a low price point.

Primary lens yes (IMX363) although aperture different at f1.9 vs f1.8 on Mi 8 and MIX 2S.
Secondary lens different.

The dual camera setup is likely to be identical to the Mi 8 SE, as the 8 SE also uses the IMX363 for its 12MP primary lens.

Something has got to go to keep it within the price point, and NFC is the least used. Would u rather sacrifice the headphone jack, SoC, battery size or NFC? Of course, for those who insist on having NFC have to look somewhere else like the Mi 8 or OP6.

I will rather have the water cooling than have NFC.

Heat is always a gamer's nightmare and I hate thermal throttling.

I haven use NFC in years and I am not missing it.

I use NFC and application to read my last balance of ezlink card (and Octopus card when in Hong Kong), so NFC is a must.

Think because people generally don't like non snapdragon chipsets. :o

In general, only chip from SD and Samsung did reasonably well. MTK and Karin only score well with benchmark program. Just like Intel vs AMD.

Yup. Me also generally prefer SD chips. More all rounder and more consistent performance.

Then it will be just another budget phone with an inferior processor.

Like it or not, soc will always be regarded as the primary determinant whether a phone is budget or flagship. True, without nfc it is an inferior budget but considering the price it's already a steal. U can't have everything.

If u want everything go for a note 9...
