well. servers need money to run. unless the technology is so advance they can use p2p (player to player) matchmaking to host their own games. but that would be highly differing in playing experience. then cloud saves also takes huge amount of data over the cloud.

my pro controller left analog stick has a drifting problem. seems like its a common problem to pro controllers and joycon.

i emailed maxsoft but they didnt reply. the pro controller is not cheap and we are not supported by our local distributor.

does anyone know how to repair this? would appreciate your help thanks!

Maxsoft is lousy they reply see mood de. They warranty me once for the same problem, replace the drifting left joycon with a new one which ended up drifting few hours later. When I emailed them again they just ignored me. Not gonna buy anything from them anymore.
Edit: just realized u were talking about pro controller lol

Cannot escalate to nintendo? If many feedback on maxsoft, nintendo might do something right?

I emailed nintendo us, they apologized for the inconvenience and say will look into it. I doubt they can do anything lol. My future purchase will be from Amazon.

Anyone having problem doing cloud save backup?
First day it was ok, now it says there's no backup file and says can't back up when I try.

Anyone know where is the best/cheapest place to get a local Switch? It's for my son. He's been asking for one and his birthday is coming up.

I assume it's better to get a local set because of warranty, right?

Nope, maxsoft warranty is crap. anyway, nintendo products are very tough. My 11 year old wii is still running after 9 years in storage.

Not true for the switch joycons. They are built like crap. The analog stick drifts and the attachment to the console becomes wobbly after just half a year of usage.

So you're suggesting getting the Korean one? I was looking at that one.

I would suggest to get it through shopee or lazada plus shopback. You can get local after discount maybe less than 400 for brand new local. If 1 year+ ago, i would have ask u get export one instead.

The quality control for switch is quite bad. Don't compare to gagdets that was release years ago. Nowadayd gagdet tend to spoil more easily than it used to be.

right rail not working

anyone have this problem? my left joy-con is seen in handheld mode but my right joy con cannot be placed in handheld mode even when it is attached to the switch. That means i cannot play games unless i take out both joy cons and use it seperately.

lazada cheapest also 415 export set & shopee is 405 from the same seller. :s13::s13:

think even with shopback also hard to get 375.
