personally i dun like all the micro bubbles , so my aeration is all done in the baffles of my sump.

Lava layer after substrate you can use small little bacter balls as well...just hide it in the soil. I would add a handful of dead corals to add some calcium but not too much. It must hide well. Too much dead coral, the entire tank will turn white color....lol.

That spiky plant is 吐血。 Favourite plant....used to have one too.

What is CO2 Drop Checker....I used to have one of these too....

C328 got sell, Polyart too.

PH test kit is API Master series. I still have it.
It comes with the test tube, so fill it up with aquarium water, drop 3 drops of solution, shake it then take the readings.

Ha Ha....to get the solution in, gentle tapping using 1 finger will do.

We do not use electronic PH meter. So Drop Checker is a very good way to checking PH....once you familiar with the colors, you don't need to PH chart to keep referring to.

No light, its okay, algae will grow only if there is light and filter not working or is very dirty.

invest on tis too

allow some bb to grow so when the colony of bb in your main died the sponge still can support abit

I got 12v SLA. Most of our aquarium stuffs runs on low vottage, so if you running 12v adaptor, it is usable.
