One more thing. My apologies for missing this out. You might want to check if you have purchased extended warranty. 2 years+ is rather premature for the system to give way in so many parts. Not that it is not possible but sometimes really quite unfortunate. If extended warranty is purchased, it might not cover the piping work but the system should be covered. One last resort if still in doubt with the initial diagnosis will be to consider having Mitsubishi come for a check but it should be chargeable if not under warranty.

He did reset the mains after topping up, waited for 10mins, still no cold air or the sound of 'rushing gas' you hear when you turn on aircon.

I guess, I have to LLST and get a new unit. Thanks!

Chances are the outdoor pcb is faulty (communication error/outdoor unit control system error). When the outdoor unit is faulty all indoor units will be affected and might auto shut down to prevent further damage. Best to have it checked soonest as there can be other underlying cause.

The promoter who goes by the number 91892893 is a scammer. They issue an appointment card with serial number under the heading No.1 aircon service managed by xi run electrical supply which is actually in Johor. I waited for them to come at 1pm to service my aircon but did not turn up and when i contacted the promoter he kept saying they will contact me. Please do not fall for this free trial scam. They are a bunch of scammers.

You can find aircon servicing companies on SGHomeNeeds.

Best to compare a few quotations first before engaging one. I got quoted once for cleaning 5 aircons, one quoted $150 and another quoted $120.

how come condenser PCB spoilt must change whole system ??

It would really depend if your appointed contractor has detected other issues with the system. There are scenarios whereby the condition of the indoor and condenser is aging, badly corroded, insulation badly sweating etc making it not cost effective to replace solely the condenser pcb. Otherwise if the condition of the system is fine then you should only be replacing the faulty pcb.

Such situations should be communicated to the home owner so that they can understand the condition of their aircon and the choice should be solely at home owner own discretion.

Might want to call your appointed contractor to clarify your doubts.

Does pressing the manual on/off button work?
If it does, chances are the receiver is faulty.

Before that, if there is another unit in the house, you can check if your remote is working by using it to switch on the other unit. For sake of prudence do also check the remote batteries and make sure it’s not weak.

Might want to engage an aircon company to determine the actual cause. They will provide a quote for the repair after the assessment and you can decide if to proceed repair from there.

Hey guys,
Was trying to charge my air-cond, MHI system 3 and got confused.
Pressure was ~100 psi when I switched ON 1 unit, but went up to ~130/140 psi when all 3 units were switched ON.
So, which one is correct?
Just switch ON one unit or all 3 units?
Need expert's advice.
