Also not forgetting xm still has their own f2 which will also eat into your own shares of mi 9 buyers

Agree, that’s why in my previous comment in Sg their pricing will not be competitive unless bundling with the wireless charger together with either car charger or wireless power bank

Not so bad now a day. Price is quite good now a nice if you consider 1 years warranty. In the pass, mark up is way to high and is better to get from parallel importer.

Europe has started selling. Much earlier than China. I think the best way(price) to get a Global version is to import from Hong Kong.

This time round, there is difference in memory and storage configuration. Global version cost much more with smaller memory and storage and weaker charger.

Not sure if the 27W charging is using proprietary technology, as the 27W charger has usb A port instead of usb C that is required for usb PD and QC4+.

Redmi too. Redmi ceo said there will be a redmi flagship phone with sd855. Lei jun said xiaomi will be the only chinese company to launch phones in china with sd855 for the next 2-3 months. Not exclusive deal, something to do with other brands flagship phones release schedule.

hmmm probably need some real-life comparison to see whether it's marketing gimmick or really translates into results

gsmarena's review (https://www.gsmarena.com/xiaomi_mi_9-review-1891p3.php) wrote that the standard 18W wired charger brings a depleted battery up to 45% in 30mins, whilst the 20W wireless charger did 30% in 30mins

There are new review of the 20W wireless charger. Start charging from 0%, 55% at 30 mins, 74 mins for 0-100%.

My mi 6 3350 mah need a bit more than 100 mins for 0-100% with the 18W QC3.0 charger in the box.

Think Samsung notice n ask youtuber to take down basically 9820 lost to 855 by 17sec

No use, there are non sponsored reviewers that bought the phone with their own money. They will not response to threat by manufacturer to take down such video that highlight the flaw.
