Not sure who are those that didn't save money. I did save but the usage went up. Who else don't understand me?
Last time SP usage was 300kwh to 430kwh.... now is 480kwh average for 2 months. I only sign up in May 2019. The first cycle starts 22 May iirc

It might be due to last 2 months more hot and you use more aircon. You bought any new electrical items recently? Change AC/Fridge to inverter types if got chance.

Aircon, fridge, water heater, induction cooker etc are KWH hungry devices :o

Or the last 2 months are estimated usage.

50kwh is not too much.

i am checking out Tuas Power but the promo reduced to $100 for 3years. (used to $120).
any insights if there will be new promo again? Thanks

Go to their roadshow and you will get 120 for 3 years, 80 for anything else. I have friends who changed to them and found it very good as they use the same sp bill, good for old people, others give lots of issues due to billing or credit card rebates. I am on keppel and face many issues, look at all the feedback from people on facebook.

Does anyone know who to complain about a retailer. I need to complain about keppel. My aunty , an old lady asked for a paper bill which cost 1.07. And till now after 3 months nothing. I kept all the emails.

Just wondering what issue you have with Keppel?

Agree with you. Most of the aged ppl are not tech-savvy and don't use credit cards. They don't use internet, PC to check their bills.

Hence, the same paper billing from SP is best as they do not have to anything.

Actually, switching OEM also need to see which one is hassle free also. If switched over and need to monitor costs, usage, credit cards usage every now and then, better don't switch :o.

Old ppl don't have such time...

Agree...

I switched to Tuas Power in, late May, with fist full month in June. First bill came with slightly higher usage, just 19 kWh more. I submitted the number, so no dispute here. Even with the higher usage, the electricity bill is lower. This month, it's recording month and I just checked SP app. Usage is almost 50 kWh lower.

My flat is occupied by tenants now, but I'm the one handling payment for utilities, so the integrated billing is more convenient for me. I'm overseas, so I don't call up Tuas Power if I have any issue, but email them instead. Response is within 2 working days for the 2 times that I emailed them regarding my account. Not the fastest, but 2 working days is acceptable.

So far, can say I'm quite please with Tuas Power. Plus, I get to earn ntuc points (real ntuc points, not edmw ntuc points) with electricity usage. Not much, but it all add up.

Effectively after GST, it is even less than $100 rebates.

If electricity consumption is low, opt for a retailer with maximum rebates and lowest rate.

If electricity consumption is very high, can consider SP Wholesale.

I think my consumption will be average, very much depends if turning on aircon. Any OEM provider suggestion?

That’s why I felt Tuas Power is not as competitive now.

After almost 4 months and many emails, my aunty has still not received a paper bill yet. Another problem will come about later is that keppel bill cannot pay at posb or 7-11. Must pay an axn machine, she does not know how to pay. The goverment should make it a requirement for the bills to be payable at either posb or 7-11 for elder generation, otherwise they are stuck

Geneco used to be attractive.

You can try check Senoko. I think they are having a good promotion currently.

If cannot decide, switch to SP Wholesale first.

Instead of complaining, why don't you help to settle for her monthly?

Alternatively, setup a GIRO.
