Just want to share my experience today trying to recontract the phone from singtel.

Reach comcenter around 12.30pm with a friend, and served at 1pm. Planning to early recontact. The sales person have issue with his tab, until 1.30 still havent completed the sales process.
As I need to head back to office, ask him if my friend can continue the process on my behalf, or if he can reserve the phone for me. He said need me to be present for signing, and convince me can just return there before 7.30pm as they have plenty of stock. "Want to buy 100 also can".
Returned there 7pm, surpriseeeee no more stock.
He only say sorry he had overpromised and nothing he and his manager can do as no more stock.

Very dissapointing.

Actually I feel no need to buy at launch.
Think I’m getting it but I will wait awhile.

If I get I will be getting from StarHub, $238 plan and pay $699 for the phone + corporate plan. $190 X 12 months = $2,280 + $699 = $2,979 considering that I upgrading yearly for the new fold device.

But Sian the buds I have already. Shouldn’t have bought the buds few months back.

Whoa, I was there from about 12:15 to about 12:55, so you must have been one of the peeps there while I was there. I had to run out to draw cash as I didn't know NETS transaction limit to 2k SGD, I thought 3k.

The sales staff was pretty good though, a young understudy and his supervisor, waited for me to go to ATM to draw cash. Even helped me get 200SGD off the price with contract/plan. Sorry to hear about your experience though, guess I lucked out....

Was told by Samsung staff only authorised shop can sell fold.. If buy from non authorised.. Will not be liable for anything.

So far only telecom and ses can sell the fold. Because of its exclusive..

I bought a Note 10 from one of the neighbourhood mobile phone store and wanted to trade in my Note 9 for the Samsung trade up programme

Went to the Samsung Experience store

Staff mention they are unable to recognise the neighbourhood mobile shop receipt for the Note 10 purchase for their trade up programme with Samsung Experience Stores and authorised 3rd party shops (e.g. Kasia Mobile )

I usually buy from the FarEast shops, there hasn't been a problem with TradeUp. Tho I encountered someone on carousell once when trying to sell the recent A80 that he encountered a problem for TradeUp for a previous phone cos the IMEI wasn't recognised in Samsung's system. His phone was bought from those neighbourhood shops. Not sure where they procured their stock from.

The only thing i am keen will be the screen replacement (touch wood)

For curdent note 9 or 10muser, just sell off the phone to others retail.

I don't dare to take any risk buying from those non authorised shops.

In order to enjoy the exclusive services that's only cater for fold.. One need to register the phone serial number in order to enjoy it.

Exactly, the in screen replacement is one of key deciding factor to take up this, never take chance with unauthorised seller.
