erm, cleaning time still acceptable.
eh, ignore the suction power, 5800mAh battery is under-perform...
3200mAh viomi full suction... 1 min consume 1%
5200mAh s5..... 36mins consume 20~25%
The app is designed by? edit: the app designed by minihelpers, pretty smooth & responsive.
what are the bugs?
live realtime map update?
will it skip room and jump everywhere? let said after room 2, does it will skip room 7 and jump to room 4?
In room 2 , does it bump a lot on obstacles?
Any issue setting up 5.0ghz?
does the schedules working properly?
if pause and carry to another room, will it re-location itself?
is the filter size same as viomi?
any docking issue?
well, water pooling start appear after sometimes....
Without using any power/mechanism to control the waterflow rate, it rely on the momentum to drip out the water. for my reference, i just call gravity dripping.
My place is an EA with around 150m2 of space. it's optimized for robots on purpose, so minimal obstructions that the robot needs to navigate around.
Sorry for the late replies. am really busy lately helping to test out the S7 and tending to a newborn:
The app is designed by? Local developers hired by minihelpers, issues reported are fixed very fast
what are the bugs? So far the bugs i spotted have been reported and fixed within a few days
live realtime map update? yes, it was laggy at first but it's quite stable now. also depends on your house wifi coverage
will it skip room and jump everywhere? let said after room 2, does it will skip room 7 and jump to room 4? The algorithm is good now, it won't skip rooms once the rooms are all mapped out, it will do room by room.
In room 2 , does it bump a lot on obstacles? room 2 is dining area, that's why a lot of chairs. it uses the same LDS/SLAM as viomi so it doesn't bump into anything
Any issue setting up 5.0ghz? I tested it and it's fine, have to further test as i don't use mesh at home. but i have a 5ghz blind spot where i park the robots so i have to tweak my APs.
does the schedules working properly? Schedule is very good so far, i can set multiple schedules and select what rooms to clean.
if pause and carry to another room, will it re-location itself? i have never tried it and most robots once picked up and relocated will need to send back to dock AFAIK.
is the filter size same as viomi? Everything is same as viomi, their parts are interchangable except the battery, the viomi battery compartment is smaller
any docking issue? no docking issues that i can see.
Overall, the S7 has a better experience and performance over the Viomi V2 during first launch.
I had many issues with the Viomi V2 which was feedback to minihelpers to fix as well.
If i didn't say it enough, the Hydra S7 is definitely a good buy if you want a decent vac that is locally supported, nothing comes close for < $300 price range!
