i think cn also want to build bridges to link hk to macau/zuhai or something like that, so at least hker can buy housing at thos area cheaper, and still can transport themselves with ease back to hk to work etc.... but hkers reject say for cn to infiltrate into hk easy or something like that?

CN wants to erease HK young chaps current mindset and let them eassimilate with China culture that's why china is trying to influence HK. Not good but not bad also. As that will erease HK culture as well. But HK ppl think that they are more superior class and refused all the merger and refused to accept the challenge that they faced today

It seems Hong Kong police have encircled main force of rioters in the Polytechnic University. Please arrest them in accordance with the law. They are new type of terrorists who have hijacked Hong Kong's future and threatened to kill the city.

This video went viral on China's internet. HK looks like a battlefield tonight. Rioters attacked armored police vehicle with petrol bombs, causing it to catch fire. But police still exercise restraint. Police should be permitted to fire live rounds in this case to counter rioters.

While watching the live stream of the attack on PolyU and how the frontliners desperately and repeatedly threw their homemade molatov at the armoured vehicle and water cannon truck, I cannot help but empathize with them. While I condem their violence, I cannot help but see their reason for doing it. The very fact that pushed them to violence is because they had lost faith in the democratic system and it doesn't help that the government, headed by CL continues to be oblivious to the sentiments on the ground. By pushing materiastic policies such as reform to the housing policies, CL has continued to show a stark disconnection between her govt and the public. Unlike the pro-dem exisiting and ex-members like Nathan, Claudia, Agnes and Joshua who continues to JJWW on social media from the comfort of their homes, the frontliners are the one that is at the forefront and has the most to lose. For those who say they should focus their effort on getting elected into the LegCo and reform from the inside, if y'all have read how the LegCo is disproptionaly advantageous to the Pro-China members, y'all would have an idea of why they had push them to violence. While this is not a support for the violence protestors....I empathise with them and applaud them for their effort and commitment to their cause.

They do not have this to start with. And you've already noted, it's meant to swing the way of pro-China. Even if they killed everyone against them, they won't get their democracy.

That's assuming if China still doesn't step in no matter what happens, fulfilling their 1 country 2 systems promise (sounds extreme, not that I think it will happen).

There can be no dialogue if it's 5 demands and not 1 less, tbh. Besides, who can represent the rioters for a constructive dialogue. Lololol. Nobody dare to claim to be the leader. Anybody can call for violence. Lololol. This current riot even if put down wouldn't be the end game. It is just the start. A move to fan anger and hatred towards the HK government. The ultimate aim is independence. There will be worse riots as 2047 gets nearer. Lololol

The one went to yale and study and asked them to continue to fight for better hk and Joshua lor.
Their potential leader :s12:

I guess initially when the protest started back in June, there were still some level of faith in the govt to do "what is right"...since then we have been seeing a steady increase in violence

Precisely 董建华 made suggestions more than a decade ago to help solve/lessen their housing issue(not crisis) at the time. However, the public refused to allow public housing due to being afraid their own current property prices will pummel. The lobbyist by the property magnates didn't help the situation either, but the people voted for it.

That's why I always say the HK ppl got what they deserved and will be deserving...

Yup. If that time they accept the suggestion and they all went to China Shenzhen and buy lots of land and housing. Now they also huat liao.

This one are all the extras only. Need to catch those black shirt with well equipped and protective gear.those are the main front force

All need to catch la. Without less violent moderates providing support, cover etc, the violent radicals would be long defeated liao. The violent radicals knows this. This is why they used the extradition bill as an excuse to stroke sentiments. The radicals had actively recruited for years but never acted until there is an excuse to stir **** and hide behind others.
