Charge only when you need. I do not believe in charging over night so i will never leave my phone charge over the night. If your battery still have more than 90%, you do not need to charge full always. Do not let your battery go below 15% or red. Unless i know i will be going out, then i will charge full even if its around 95%. This is my charging pattern, so far my phone battery still ok.

Huh why write so much? I just gonna reiterate that pls do not extrapolate the poor quality control of Xperia batteries to other smartphone brands. It seems that bloating battery is a common occurrence for Xperia, from reading the previous posts. Never experienced bloating on my old Samsung phones. That's all I have to say.

Old Xperia batteries might bloat, but at least they don't explode unlike your beloved Samsung, right?

Note 7 fiasco was unfortunate and Samsung learned from it the hard way, but no manufacturer is immued from the risk of exploding batteries.

And yet only the Note 7 was banned on flights, with Airlines even being equipped with a fire-proof box just in case.

There's a big difference between an occasional failure and an entire design flaw.

Yup. That's why I SAID Samsung learned it the hard way and now domineering the android space while Sony waste away.

Does recent Xperia phone like the XZ2/3 have battery issue?
Does recent Note 9/10 have battery issue?

No right? Both learned their lesson.

Ok move on.
