Why for this price you guys dont wanna just get Prism+ X340 Pro ? I think its the same Panel just different design. :s11:

You still get onsite warranty for the Prism+. Maybe its only for people who requires 144hz ? If not i dont think its that worth it to ship over

Prism+ X340 Pro $599
34" mi monitor $400+ with 1 year local warranty

if get directly from china...can be cheaper than $400+

then the brand itself drive some people crazy.......:)

Prism+ 569 (Price i gotten).

Even if you get from china, it'll be 1999RMB (Excluding Shipping + GST + Any agent fee (Optional)).

"Local set" includes 1 Year warranty, i'm pretty sure if there is any complicated issues. It'll be sending off to china and leave you without monitor for that duration (Touchwood).

Well it boils down to individual preference i guess. Monitor itself is pretty fragile for sea shipment, have to take the necessary risk :s22:

Tempted to change from dual 27 to single 34

But that would lose the flexibility to connect one to pc and one to office laptop during this wfh season

You can check whether the monitor you're getting supports (PIP / PBP).

Basically Picture in Picture (PIP) would be having 1 main screen shown, and having a small screen of another input source.

While Picture By Picture (PBP) would be having the monitor acting as 2 separate monitor and having its view split right in the center with 2 different input source.

The xiaomi 34" is packed very well. If anyone is concerned about shipping related damage, no need to worry.

I can't speak for other monitors and how those are packed, but for the xiaomi, no concerns.

I am looking at monitors with PBP capabilities. Any recommendation?

I can't really recommend other monitor other than Prism X340 Pro as thats the only monitor i'm using that supports PIP & PBP.

Maybe you can ask users of Xiaomi Ultra wide for reviews as this monitor supports PBP as well. Not too sure about PIP.

I saw that offer and it tempted me to get a 2nd piece, but its more of a want than a need :s13::s13:

I wouldnt really recommend if it was around 600+ (When it first launched), now would be pretty competitively priced. When if there is any issue with the panel, theres always onsite warranty to support.

some manage to get prism for less than $500/$550 tho. later got promos if u want to buy.

the warranty for xiaomi is not on site, have to go IMM for RMA.....

nowadays, warranty is very vice versa for local brand/local reseller.....
worth anot have to see yourself ba.
the risks is low as it is well protected by the packaging, so it is up to how professional the forwarder transport your item.

For your reference,
Bro, mine cracked on the first day. I was quoted 389 to replace a x340pro. U can ask them why they quote you higher for a cheaper monitor. Anyway, I am escalating the issue because people in the industry have confirmed to me that screens are not supposed to crack so easily.
PRISM+ X340 - Cheapest UltraWide 144hz Gaming Monitor

Don't buy, the inner screen easily crack and they will ask you for SGD398
Total you end up paying SGD1000
The resolution don't seems like 4K
You will regret buying

think taobao was selling 1999 previously.

qoo10 one of the sellers said will be bringing it soon too but of course at a marked up price, only downside not IPS panel but good resolution.

so far cheapest i found is 400 before shipping.

ezprime mark up is 650+, madness.
