Actually BOC is the last bank to cut. DBS and UOB announce 2 rounds of cuts.

And when people go to branch to open accounts the last few days, the bank staff informed them that rates will be cut soon so that they can decide if they still wish to open account.

Gave up and placed with maybank 3yr @ 2.05

Average over 3 years should be fine.

Do you get all the 3 years interest the next day or upon maturity ? keen in this too but 3 years is long

May Bank do have Islamic Fixed Deposit which payout the interests the next day. I think it's still available right now. Do double check with the bank for this.

Get a small % next day. The rest upon maturity

May Bank do have Islamic Fixed Deposit which payout the interests the next day. I think it's still available right now. Do double check with the bank for this.

we deposit in SGD can do this ? i did a quick comparison, it is similar to isavy fixed deposit rates

Maybank have 2 types of 3 years FD at 2.05% p.a. Both can place using their internet banking.

1. Conventional Time Deposit - Min 1k (edited) . Interest on maturity

2. Isavvy Time Deposit - Min 25k. 0.25% is given upfront. The rest on maturity.

Yes, u can deposit SGD for Islamic Fixed Deposit.

Renewed SBI FD 12mths at 1.10%
Fresh funds at 0.6% or 0.7% cannot remember.
Not much choices available as am looking for plain vanilla FD.
