I hv a seller who sent me another one but on condition that i cart it one more time. Dont hv to be same value. After i received the correct item, he refunded with shippin fees.can try negotiate with seller see if he can do the same for u. Most dun like to do exchange for overseas item.

Encountered similar situation before. Seller will include the missing/damaged item but with a condition, I have to purchase another item. I accepted his solution & purchased another item & shipped over to SG but... when I opened up, the missing/damaged item wasn't included! Got cheated

I think it is better for us to have some assurance like can request them to take pictures before wrapping up the parcel.

hi!! Here to seek advice again from the taobao pros.

Recently I bought a laptop stand from taobao and received a faulty product (the stand can’t even stand LOL) Took pictures and videos and sent the shop to ask for refund/ advice.

I didn’t go through the “我的小蜜” because I was hoping the shop could resend the same thing. I also note that there are 3 options that I could choose for refund

1. refund but no need to return the product
2. return and refund
3. 1-1 Exchange

Option 2 and 3 are possible but expensive and there’s no point to pay for the shipping fees if it’s more expensive than the product itself. Has anyone tried option one and is successful?

Is there any other way I could get back my money

If the seller is nice, option #1 with partial refund is the best seller can do.

I bought a faulty electronic that in taobao was advertised as "if faulty, just replace no repair" and when i told seller item is faulty, they say will send someone over to take a look.
But obviously we cant enjoy that service cos we are overseas buyer and its not seller fault that we are based overseas, so just suck thumb and accept your loss + write negative review to quench the rage.

It have a regular parcel no but 0 order 0 item inside. If click parcel no will give you error 404. Checked with CS many times what is that but they say there nothing in that order

First time I used cainiao after buying a couple of spray bottles from taobao. I paid for the shipping on 5 July. 物流 says it arrived in Singapore on 13 July. Up to today (16 July) I have yet to receive the goods.

How long does it normally take for the goods to be delivered to doorstep after reaching Singapore? Anyway to check with cainiao status of delivery? Thanks

this is the risk u gotto take when taobao

so far me only kenna 1x damage good
he agreed to refund...than send (not the wechat hongbao)
got evidence say somebody send u mooney but we need verifiy to rx fund
cannot as no we no do verification though money already send

just like ppl send u wechat hongbao
if no verified u cannot rx fund as well

I might wanna add in this service if there is anyone who is interested. I know HDB certified renovation companies who also does furniture and also renovation like flooring, cabinet and so on so you all can buy from TB then they can assemble them for you.

I remember my brother bought those height-adjustable tea-table with 4 stools off TB. Took him around 8-10 hours and countless messages to the seller to assemble everything.

Given the diversity of household furniture sold on TB which requires assembly, indeed buyers can benefit from such a service.

Yes what did they say when u msg them, they should just do 1 as u cannot return item

1. 99% impossible
2. impossible
3. impssible

just tell seller, u're overseas buyer.
4. Partial refund, no need return.
5. resend another 1 without extra costs
6. resend another 1 with some top up
7. LLST and try to repair yourself.

Thanks all for your advice! I contacted the seller and sent tons of videos and photo evidence and finally they are willing to offer me full refund without having to return the item. I also realised they can’t send us a new piece if we use consolidated shipping unless you purchase another item from them.

Yours is air or sea? You might feel better if you look at my sea shipping status. Hahaha. My package reached SG on 5 Jul. Picked up by LMD on 8 Jul. it’s 17 Jul now and they still haven’t delivered my package.

You can try asking the cainiao staff but they are all gonna say the same thing like “pls be patient” / “we will inform the courier company to look into this” and blablabla. Otherwise if it’s sea shipment, u can try contacting the LMD staff.

usually sea shipment they take very long one, if you want fast shipping can just opt for air shipment

Hey there, been a long time user of Taobao app but i stopped using it for like a year or two maybe since Shopee became popular. I cannot read chinese and i depends on buttons to navigate the site. Recently i start using the app again and realized the interface has changed. I bought some products and i guess it has arrived in ‘warehouse’. Problem is, i cant find the button to consilidate shipment to ship to my home. Can anyone help me to locate the button? I tried pressing some of the buttons and couldnt find the option to do so. I used to use 4PX as my forwarder.
