I still prefer full cover with LEDs in front so it's either smart clear view cover for me or smart LED view cover.

Those flip covers look very nice :)
Nearly got that myself.

But then I mostly use my phone one-handed (with the aid of the superb one handed+ app in Samsung Good Lock), so I gave up flip.

i find the flip cover destroyed the beauty of this phone.

I use transparent cover for my last 2 N-Series including this n20u.

Agree with you.

Think the n20u camera hump makes a distinct statement. It looks quite unique and nice... like a floating island

I also feel my battery is improving over time. Their so called AI battery management is legit.

I definitely agree with you. Had the device for 7 days now and battery has been gradually improving since day 4 onwards and looking to be even better today. Running on 96hz with variable as well. Managed to hit 6hr 30 mins screen on time yesterday with moderate to high social media usage

Some difference only when scrolling fast.
Otherwise not that noticeable. I presume 120hz is useful when playing games. Otherwise I see not much benefit to it.

how did you test?
Try to compare side by side and do the same action. Most noticeable when scrolling. I'm using a 90hz refresh screen and I can feel the difference. 120hz should be more pronounced.

I fully charged my phone this morning, left 89% now with 25min SOT. So much different with yours.. im using 120hz

Try 96hz? Also try things like manually selecting your telco network instead of auto select.

scroll websites up and down. problem with android web browsers is that they scroll very fast, so whether 60hz or 120hz, I cannot see the difference. even with iOS's more controlled smoother scrolling, I also cannot see the difference.

but if a video is recorded at 30fps or 60fps, I can sometimes see the difference, as 30fps can be jerky while panning, 60fps will be smooth. so probably for me, I dun feel anything above 60hz.

That is good, you can save the battery since cant tell the difference. I can literally see the difference between 60 and 120hz so no choice but to stick with 120hz :(

Nobody can. need to only use Wi-Fi, do tweaks here, deep sleep there, 96hz everywhere.
$2000 phone need so much fine-tuning :s22::s22::s22:

does limiting the CPU to 70% provide a significant / noticeable / >20% boost to the battery life ?

anyone tried to test drive this setting for 3 days - 1 week ?

How u set it 96hz? My setting only have 60hz and 120hz

Yes i did set it to manual network

Need to use some adb commands. Not easy but not that hard also.

https://www.neowin.net/amp/how-to-set-samsung-galaxy-s20s-display-refresh-rate-to-96hz/

Follow up to step 5 till "adb shell settings put system peak_refresh_rate 96.0" part.

Don't do the min_refresh_rate part, else will disable the variable refresh rate.

Don't use method 2 (the s20 app) as suggested in the link, as it will also disable the variable refresh rate.

Screen is the battery killer. Forget about tweaking CPU etc. You only get minimal difference.

60hz is best battery. 120hz have big impact. You may try the 96hz recommended here but not sure whether got any difference to 120hz.
