like how to satisfy himself w/ the meal w/ such a huge ball & in to his mouth?
& theirs is like a free-flow of rice?![]()
there are a few restaurants in little india that are free flow of rice + vegetables. you should try!
BTW i've watched Gregory Leow on YT, and have seen some sites echo his opinion on Briyani.
Don't see anything on this thread tho.
Check it out guys!
Thanks to this thread, I made a trip to Tekka Market for the first time in my life! In search of delicious biryani!![]()
Very disappointing! 898cal intake w/o satisfaction!![]()
this stall isit middle of the row that face the sky-opening?
if thats the stall, the people cooking always different
sometimes good sometimes awful
tekka bryani not really a must eat
but i will always drink a cup of teh alia from the corner drink stall near the fruit sellers
recharge a bit before walking home from there

For those who's going to venture into the briyani maze in Tekka. Here is a brief guide!
1. Allauddin’s Briyani

Location sounds about right.
The biryani was good (better than about 80% of what I remember eating...), but not so WOW! that I'd be returning just for it.
The rice was lightly flavoured, which was pleasant. Small portion, though, in relative biryani rice-servings standard. The star of the dish was actually the curry. Made for a very flavourful meal.
Teh Halia @Rahman right?
The skinning babu makes it!
I saw the stall...& thought I read about it in this thread before. Couldn't be sure though, since it could be that silat champion guy that I was recalling.![]()
