Assuming if the box is really unable to watch FTA without the Nokia router.

I should be buying a Apple TV box. Correct me if I am wrong.

Apple TV I can watch the following stuff without issues and messing around with APK

1) StarHub TV Channels - Via StarHub App
2) MeWatch - FTA channels
3) Singtel Cast for football - Via Singtel App

I do not think Starhub TV+ app is available on Apple TV. Anyway that is not an issue as you can use the Starhub TV+ Box. But then SingTel Cast is also available from Starhub TV+ box.

So you are buying Apple TV box just for meWatch where you can cast from mobile phone. Does not sound worth buying Apple TV at all.

Actually both Singtel cast and Singtel GO app are in the streaming box. The draw back of the new box is that user have to use the same platform for viewing in the same household. Can not mix with fiber TV service just like the Starhub GO box.

Use multiple Starhub TV+ boxes? That should work.

The old plans are still available.
Try to view it in a desktop. Does not seems to work well with my mobile device. You would need a HUB ID.

*** LINK REMOVED NO LONGER WORKING****

This link was sent by StarHub last week. It still has the old $79.90 package with 2 TV passes and 4 months free subscription.

Thanks, later I try from my desktop.

I was told at Starhub shop the old plan no more for recontract but will continue to run at $46.01 without the fibre, but the fibre Bb needs to pay separate amount ($49.90 no contract, $39.90 with 24mths).

I might need to pop by Singtel to look at the plans.

Paid TV subscription for my parents, so will need their buy in with any changes. We will see how

The question is whether the old plan is available for recontract or not.

Just take note SingTel Jingxuan Starter pack is similar in price at S$29.9 to Starhub Asian Entertainment pack. But you can get 3 months free.

If you need Sports as well then Jingxuan Value is not cheap at S$77.9 per month.
