Larger companies have an advertising budget. This falls under that account. Budget use finish? No money? Not interested? Then politely reject say no opportunities for now.

This counts as a potential business partner. You don’t burn bridges like that. No wonder people say Singaporeans are not good bosses.

surely someone from the production crew need to reach out to those firms to ask for these freebies right?

Thing is, he can strategically choose which one to sponsor and which ones not to. He doesn't have to sponsor every single company. He could just do it once a year or twice to get public awareness for his business.

Software costs the difference between giving away 1 to 10 or even 100 copies.... is not that big... but food different wor... your manpower costs, rental, ingredient costs... utilities... all part of business costs hor...
