Nothing hard to understand at all. My point is that you can take out the battery and still be able to check in, which makes the entire thing looks dumb.

Because you are not just checking in.. you are also doing contact tracing.. the token can do that.. your nric can't..

Scanning nric only logs where you went and what time.. the token captures who you came into contact with while you were there.

Is that so hard to understand?

Thanks for the correction. Edited my first post.

The QR code doesn't encode anything. It is just a serial number of your token. When you collect that token, the serial number will be linked to your NRIC and stored it in the GovTech database

It only has a QR code, which most likely encodes using a serial number tied to your NRIC. This token should be placed in front of a scanner for checking in, like what some of us have all along been doing in Super Markets and Shopping Malls today (Physical NRIC).

Now the question is why must we use this (QR Code) instead of using our physical NRIC (Traditional Barcode) ? Is the physical NRIC still accepted for checking in then ?

Because they spent millions making the devices. So now how if you don't use them? Sure somebody kena ****** for the millions spent, right?

So lan lan must use them lor.

But first they want you to prove that you have trace together.. they can put bluetooth tracker everywhere but if everyone off their trace together or remove the battery from the dongle then also no use.

U don't need to off bluetooth to disable it

Thanks for the expose. But it's not mine. You should check the source of the image :s13::s13::s13:

And yes, you can print this and paste over your existing token's QR to sabo him.

Your QR code reads: 111A00003225

Can I use his QR code for entry?

can i use his QR to scan instead?

So in the future this is what's gonna happen,

1. Without TT App or token, you are not allowed entry.

2. With physical NRIC without TT App or token, you are not allowed entry.

3. With a working or faulty TT token (or one without battery), you are allowed entry.
