I applied for Cancercare last week but it is not showing up after the investment portion/section of ibanking at the bottom (when you first log in). Is that normal ? And when I click on Cancercare I seem to be able to apply for it again.

It should be under insurance

Premium deducted?

this DBS really inefficient. world's "best bank"... yet cannot get their app showing latest info properly.

the RSP deducted since 15th of month. today 27th already, still refuse to show up on the bank and earn summary. their IT department kena retrenched?

really jiak sai.

my RSP already shown in DBS App last Saturday.. probably run in batches?
yours will show up eventually if already deducted on 15/10. No worries.

yeah.. i'm not worried. since already deducted and eAdvice and all that. just flabbergasted by their inefficiency in showing the info on their banking app. what's the bloody point of having a *summary* that is "as of 25 October" but does not show transactions dated as early as 15 October? it's just... ridiculous, no?

even snail mail system would be faster than their online system. they should buck up.

Think about it.

Whether it show or doesn’t show. Wouldn’t affect your eligibility for the higher interest.

Even if it doesn’t show, what can you do about it?

What matters is when interest gets credited and it doesn’t reflect the higher interest, contact them to fix it.

you mean you're happy that transactions are not reflected properly in your account, and you rather spend time fixing the problem with them when the problem really show up?

i'm not sure why you're even defending their lack of efficiency, but certainly there's no need to. in this digital age, it is bewildering that a bank like DBS cannot even get basics working right.

if it is NOT meant to be reflected promptly, it defeats the entire purpose of having a bank and earn summary page. they should just take it down then. don't waste customers' time checking every now and then.

Nope. I’m just saying you are worrying about the wrong things.

no lah, i'm not worrying. don't get me wrong, as i've said, it's not like i am not sure what my position is. i'm clear what interest i'm getting.

rather, i'm disappointed with the bank's management of this b&e summary. 'nuff said, just have to tolerate their inefficiency for now.

sadly that’s the reality.

They probably have the highest interest. So ppl flock to them. So inefficiency to them might be worth it.

is it better to head down to DBS to speak to a staff to get the lowest possible plan for the insurance category?

CancerCare after the 35% off First-Year Premium promo is under S$10 for me.

---
on a side note, as long as I sign-up in Oct, I'll unlock the category from November onwards right?

mega bummed. tried applying today and keep getting the following error
"We are unable to proceed with this application. This product is only available to Singapore citizens/PRs aged 18-60 (as at Age on Last Birthday) residing in Singapore, and is subject to a maximum allowable insurance limit by the insurer."

guess I have to go down to a branch

If i create a DBS multiplier account, will this account be linked to the same number as my dbs savings account number?

Also do i need a credit card for DBS multiplier account? (Now only using debit nia).

It will be another account with a different number

It depends on what criteria you are trying to satisfy.
