Has anyone managed to setup Yeelight Orchestra on their Mi Tv?
Once it's done, it will be like Philips Ambilight.

For this TV cannot output through 3.5 mm stereo jack and speakers simultaneously. My older Sony TV can... i have the same issue as you, cos I want to leave my Bluetooth transmitter connected but when I don't use my BT headphones, the TV speakers don't put out any sound... my older Sony TV which my mum uses has a Infrared wireless headphone set attached permanently to the 3.5 mm stereo jack. It's super convenient for her, cos when she cannot sleep at night and needs to watch TV, she just lower the TV speaker volume to zero but the audio is still piped through the 3.5 mm stereo jack to her Infrared headphones... don't need to plug in and out in the dark... but this Xiaomi cannot leh...

Very good user info. Have a samsung tv that have an option to output both to internal speakers and aux. So XM don allow this.

No issues with normal channels but I am using 1080p 40inch TV or 24 inch 1080p LCD monitor.

If you have large screen 4k TVs, then the resolution of 480p/720p/1080p of SingTel Cast may not be as good on your 4k large screen TV, but then it depends on individual as well.

Majority of the complaints about SingTel Cast in this forum are with the sports channels.

From SingTel Cast thread.

Ok, thanks. Just noticed I posted in Xiaomi TV and not TV box thread.

1. Out of curiosity, Channel U has dual sound, how to set dual sound in XiaoMi TV ?

2. In the sound setting there is a switch option to turn on/off "System Sounds". What is this ?

3. Muting the TV is really a hassle for this TV. Sometimes, I watching TV and somebody speaks to me. I just want to press a button to mute it and then unmute it. There is no such possibility with the given remote except to lower the volume to nil. Other options is to use BT Keyboard with Mute or the Google Assist on the remote to mute. Hopefully, they would update the firmware to support mute on the remote.

4. I hope Xiaomi gives us the option to reprogram the Patchwall/Netflix/PrimeVideo button which I don't find very useful.

1. Never tried... try later if I got time...

2. The beep sound when you move the cursor between items on the screen. Some people don't like it so can switch off. I like the system sound cos it tells you that your cursor position is shifted...

3. & 4. I don't think it will ever happen... sorry...

I can't seem to connect my JBL soundbar to my Xiaomi TV. The sound settings only show TV speaker or SPDIF. I had connected my HDMI from my soundbar to the second HDMI (ARC) port. It still couldn't detect it. Am I doing anything wrong?

I had the same issue

In the settings / devices preference / inputs you need to activate HDMI control (it mentions it's required for ARC)

Then a popup would appear saying the ARC sound bar is connected

Btw, anybody found a way to remap the Google assistant button on the remote? I tried button mapper app but it doesn't seem to support this button

I would like to remap it to the screen saver and use it instead of power off

In response to 3 and 4:
Download Button Mapper, really changed my MiTV experience drastically.

I reprogrammed the blue button to be mute/unmute. I also reprogrammed the Patchwall (Mi) button to be recent apps (like task manager on your phone) for single tap, and switch to the previous app for double tap. Since the coloured buttons are kinda useless, I reprogrammed them to open certain apps that I often use. Unfortunately, you can't reprogram the Netflix and Amazon Prime buttons.

Hi Everyone, earlier when I switch on my MiTv (MiTv4S-L32M5-5ARU) with the remote, it request to sync the remote with Tv by pressing the ‘mi’ & ‘home’ button. After pressing for a long time, it still didn’t work and so I switch off the main power switch of the tv and switch on again. Sadly I am not able to switch on the tv with the remote anymore. Anyone, please help!

I might be wrong but powering on the TV will use the IR function of the remote. The two buttons required to press is for the Bluetooth pairing. You might need to reset your remote before trying to pair again.
