Guys using N20 Ultra, other then the supplied type c earphones & 3rd party bluetooth earbuds, what other accessories u guys r using together to support usage of normal earphones.

Can try those usb-c to 3.5mm adapter. Samsung original one has good review for its DAC sound quality.

I read that exynos cmi. True?

Used exynos before and now using SD. Tbh the difference is not as great I thought. I think the recent update for exynos has made the battery life better.

Getting export sd set has its risks like phone number display issue or volte not working for starhub, and 5g support seems sketchy also. Or just wait a little bit for the s21 ultra. So far initial leaks for the s21 exynos seems good.

Yes agree with you on the export set problems. That's why.

As a Note 20 Ultra Exynos user I can tell you battery life is OK to poor, but definitely not fantastic. Simple usage of chrome and phone starts to feel warm. And don't even talk about gaming. Online reviewers also said Eyxnos produces poorer camera quality.

My suggestion to you is to switch to Apple or wait for S21 which is one month away. Don't bother about Ex990.

I know there's one or two same user who keeps drumming that SoC makes no difference... But take take a read below

After using both S20+ exynos and S20FE with SD865, I realise processor is really the most important part of the phone.

Ppl often think it affects just speed and battery life, but beyond that I've noticed that my SD865 S20FE takes consistently better pictures due to better image signal processing from the 865, despite having the same camera hardware as S20 exynos. Images are sharper with better focus and less motion blur. My FE also has better wifi and data reception and heats up a lot less.

So while exynos 2100 is rumoured to be faster than the SD888, that's not a full perspective of how good or bad it really is. I haven't seen any news of the image processing capabilities of exy2100 unlike the SD888, where it has a new state of the art ISP built in. Also whether it has good reception and thermal capabilities. I'm hopeful but I think SG consumers will be short-changed again by the Exynos.

Ya see your appetite for risk, some don't mind export sets for the features or price they want. I've been lucky so far with export sets. Anyway, the note 20 might be the last note series. I like the square corners as it doesn't cut off the corners.

Battery part I agree, but for the photo part is there a blind test that was done ?

Just upgraded to local n20u from s10. From my past week experience and normal usage. The battery seems longer probably due to the larger battery size. The screen can really feel the difference, more smoother. The only problem I encounter is I feel the u20u camera focus just a bit slower than my s10, kinda slightly harder to focus if I use whatsapp camera. This is my first note phone, I already found how useful the spen is and should have go direct to note.

Anyone using quad lock case with glass screen protectors?

WhatsApp probably grab the wrong lens. Just switch to selfie and to rear camera again. This way WhatsApp will reselect the other rear lens camera.

Was reading this as well

Understand that the s21 uses Eyxnos as well. Will it be better?

I think performance should be better. GPU may be lagging behind though as its still using overheating Mali. And let's not talk about modem, ISP, neural processor etc..

Those gorilla glass is just marketing crap.

Try using ur phone without screen protector and it still gets scratched.

Don't believe me? Shine a light on the surface and you will see all the ridiculous fine scratches which are not supposed to be there in the first place.

Gorilla chimpanzee monkey, all just marketing crap. You dont get deep scratches easily but you get fine scratches easily.

I beg to differ. I used Note9 without screen protector, after 2 years, no scratches. I use Note20U without screen protector, after 2 months, can see fine scratches. Both are gorilla glasses, not sure which grade/level.

In fact, my family members used Note8 and 10 without screen protectors too, no scratches.

in order to be able to absorb the fall from a height, they need to make the glass softer.

That is the reason why iphone 12 and N20U is very easy to get scratches.

Hows the battery life for note20 ultra and s20 ultra ? Seems battery review not so good ?

Samsung N and S series battery performance is poor when compare to other brands.

But if compare N20U with N10+, at 60hz, N20U is slightly better. But it run slightly warmer than N10+

if you recontract from telco, and want to get flagship phone, left with only iphone and huawei to choose from.

That's my pain. Huawei no andriod. Biggest problem.
It's either n20u or pro max.
N20u seems to be getting alot of bad reviews due to soc here.
