Updated the portfolios. Both slightly dipped in value, but 100% REITs still in the lead. The gap also like no change from last week.

Was thinking of going in by end of the week

I think the 100% REIT portfolio is quite decent. But actually should've gone in at the start of the year, so can scoop up the Feb/March dividends since you'll only get the dividends if you bought prior to the dividend announcement (usually mid-Jan for the Feb/March dividends).

What's the next window to onboard for subsequent dividends?

Check out the past dividends announcement dates at dividends.sg. June-July should be the next one, but some smaller composition REITs might give out dividend in April/May period too.

So you still updating the your first post?

I literally just updated it yesterday..

2nd update for this week. Both portfolios dipped again, but the gap is widening, in favour of 100% REITs.

Just split 50% of my syfe 100EQ portfolio to Reits+ for diversification since I am already on SA 14% and 36%
Lets see how it goes!

Another drop today in my 100% reits+ -3% now since I started beginning of the month. should I keep adding to it to average it out?

Are you retiring tomorrow? If not, then yes. Don't let short-term dips influence your decisions.

Just keep contributing regularly weekly/monthly.

If you're holding over a long horizon, why hold the SA 14%? Makes sense to move the SA 14% to the 100% REITS portfolio

Is there any strategy on how much to DCA weekly or monthly?

Right now I have $2.5k in 100% REITS and REITS w/Risk Mgmt.
Was thinking to DCA $250 monthly to the two portfolios.

Thank you for the advise, hopefully things will pick up once it hits mid year with the vaccines etc.

WAh this week Reits dropped untill negative. Was up 300 past few weeks wtf

How much did you put in? This is normal because the role of Syfe is just to give you access to all the 20 reits with a single investment, nothing more.

The whole point of this low-value portfolio comparison thread is to see if the Managed REIT portfolio is worth investing. Based on the results so far, it isn't worth it. You're better off holding just the 100% REITs.

Regarding how much to DCA, it depends on your overall savings amount per month. I usually target the local portfolio to have 30% of my overall portfolio value, since the REITs return aren't fantastic, but it offers a somewhat reliable 4% a year, so not too bad for getting some degree of diversification. The only downside is that REITs are pretty volatile, but that can be partially offset by weekly/daily DCA. Based on the funds available, I think $100 a week sounds good, but that's under the assumption that you have 1.3k for available investment every month. Otherwise, not very wise to over-weight on REITs.
