I'm on the M1 plan and i don't experience any issues like what you highlighted.
I just did the speedtest with my TV streaming some shows and i clocked 882 Mbps download and 838 Mbps upload.

I'll try again tomorrow during the times you mentioned to see if a normal workday will yield different results.
Thanks blimey! Indeed it seemed the issue I faced is rather unique, in fact I've also checked with a few friends who are on M1 and they face no such issue too. Well, I'll call M1 tomorrow and see how this can be resolve.

Network interface properties, check that IPv6 hasn't been turned off or removed. Also the various security products you mentioned in another post, perhaps some of them don't handle ipv6 properly.
OMG, you've pointed me in the right direction and had saved me so much time in troubleshooting! Thank you so much bert64! IPv6 now works flawlessly after I upgraded Tinywall to v3. :D

Yes M1 IPv6 works well for me, but i'm not using an Asus router. I can say that the M1 side works 100%, but i'm not 100% clear on the correct settings for your router. Perhaps someone else is more familiar with your particular router model.

What did you set the WAN connection type to? It should be either "native" or "passthrough".

Does IPv6 show up on the router, what client devices are you using to test and is IPv6 enabled on them, and do you have any other devices (eg additional access point) between your client device and the asus router?

Edit: looking at the guide above i suspect you should try type native rather than passthrough. It should give you a DHCPv6-PD option, which also needs to be on.
Thank you for this comment. for AX55 model, IPV6 can only work for native option. Thank you for the wonderful sharing. :)

What is the typical download and upload speed you are getting when using your 1GB plan?

I newly installed but is over around 550Mbps max download and 350Mbps upload. Is direct router connection with Lan wire

Just now i'm able to achieve well over 900mbps from local and cdn hosted sites. Something is wrong with your setup, but i'd suggest ruling out problems with your own equipment before contacting M1.

What router, does does it have aggressive settings (eg lots of firewall rules, QoS etc) that could impact performance?
Tested with another cable? No packet loss etc?
What ethernet controller and what host system? Are you able to perform transfers between 2 of your own systems to verify that you achieve 1gbps locally?

Now if only they would train their installation and first line support techs properly to set this up by default. The guy i spoke to had no idea how to enable IPv6 and was trying to say it should be disabled (but couldn't provide any reason as to why).

How do i test over local and cdn hosted sites?
In my case, i just downloaded some large files, for instance:

Locally hosted linux iso (~600mb) from mirror.0x.sg:
https://mirror.0x.sg/centos/8.1.1911/isos/x86_64/CentOS-8.1.1911-x86_64-boot.iso
Windows eval vmware image from downloads.microsoft.com:
https://download.microsoft.com/down...6-9471-9eb1b4aab474/WinDev2102Eval.VMware.zip
The mirror.0x.sg is a local mirror site, while download.microsoft.com is hosted by their cdn, both are high bandwidth locally hosted sites so good for testing the line throughput.

I just grab them using wget from the commandline and see what rate i get. Both sites are also dual stack, so you can compare ipv6/ipv4 performance by specifying -4 or -6 when running wget.

I am using the AX55 Asus Router with direct connection. I change a few Lan Cable one from the box of ONT, One from the Router Box and One from my Own. Similar results when i do speedtest on M1 Mobile Server

I agree on this. I called both Asus Support and M1 side. both are clueless about IPV6 and told me to just keep it disabled. :s12:

thank you for this wondering link to test for download constant speed.

Tampines M1 no stock of AX55 waiting ...
When I head down for collection previously also no stock but they are quite good to suggest sending it to my place together with the second installation of the ONT. u might want to check if this arrangement is possible for u.

works for me :o

If you're playing with pfblockerng, your block list could be too aggressive. You'd need to whitelist some taobao domains if you're using an overly aggressive block list.

my pfblockerng is not active though. What else can i try. I was working for me for sometime and then suddenly it cant be accessed.

Okay just cfmed my theory. I called m1 and told them I change my router, they release my "old" mac address and I got assigned a new public IP and the link works now.

Anyone setup IPv6 on Unifi USG or UDM/Pro? I just signed up with M1 and would like to know the Prefix Delegation size that M1 uses. Thanks
