If you do it properly, you won't brick your phone. Before you flash any rom. You need to unlock your bootloader and it will take 128 hours to unlock. And after flashing your rom. You must never lock back your bootloader. It will brick the phone. So for an unlocked bootloader. It is best to use the EU rom because it passes Google Safetynet test making it work just like a normal Global version phone. Meaning you can use banking apps, Gpay and apps like Netflix all works normally. With Global rom and unlock bootloader, the phone will fail the Safetynet test, Netflix won't appear on the Google play store, so you have to side load the apk file and Gpay won't work too. And at times even banking apps won't work due to security reasons...

In the reply, there's no mention of the Mi 11 Ultra going to be released over here in Singapore. I highly doubt, the Mi 11 Ultra is going to be released here. It was supposed to but it got cancelled. And by the time, if it really is going to be released, it's already too late. There's already a discussion going on regarding the new Mi 12 and Mi 12 Ultra within the online community...

That's the problem with CN ROM. Tons of problems when using outside of China. One problem fixed and then a ton more appears. Given up on CN ROM. For those with Whatsapp issues. I hope you guys get it sorted out soon...
