We should really win even if with this half baked team the manager put out there but frankly not that arsed about this loss. But i'm sure even this half baked team cost twice or thrice as much as that West Ham team lol. 9 points next at OT is a must and must be the target. Villa, Villarreal and Everton. Anything less is a failure!

I only watched first half, DVB played well IMO at least better than most of Fred did in other games, no overcommitted tackles, but well positioned interceptions. But I noticed that he sometimes run into an adventurous position and asking for pass from teammates, they always choose safer paths to pass.

Mods or @sCuzzZy, i know the forum can't stop a person from posting and it's his or her right to do so but is there any way to block all those daft football articles appearing on my screen? Every time have to scroll down so long damn siannnn. Does put on ignore list works?
Yes it's supposed to work. Actually I think it will.

I would have done so if not for the fact I have to see everything. :s13:

Olden day, midfield players mean they can command the midfield whether to stop the oppsition from attacking or helping in the attack.

If you lose to Young Boys last week & KO out by West Ham in the Carabao Cup how are you going to beat Chelsea, Liverpool & Man City in the Premier league? Man Utd will not win the title if lose to Chelsea, Man City & Liverpool in the Premier league.

Will not be surprised if Tottenham & Arsenal will be able to draw or beat Man Utd. Last season Man Utd lost to Tottenham & Arsenal at Old Trafford (6 points lost). Draw away at Tottenham & Arsenal (4 points lost). Total 10 points lost playing against Tottenham & Arsenal (home & away) out of total 12 points.

No need to look into the future of United games as we do not know which United will turn out during each games.....

One game they can be world beater and the next game they have no clue on how to win the games....

I think most of the player are good in a certain way, only they are young or not mature enough to make movement or switch to win games. That why they cannot like Ronaldo, Messi ...... etc which can make a different with their inborn talent, the issue is the manager doesn't know how to determine the player skill and talent and put him into his best position to counter your opponent threat.

I don't think the result was surprising, most of those players get labelled all sorts of names or become blamed for results when they do start or even come off the bench. Their team synergy is definitely non-existent at the moment.

I definitely think DonnyVDB plays better further up front, which means it becomes a big problem because there are 2 others obviously ahead of him in the pecking order (one justified, the other debatable). Point as justification - that pass to MasonG right after he came on which almost resulted in an equaliser, was a nice pass. If MasonG had 10minutes prior to that, it could've been a goal.

While DiogoD crossed better, they were just as aimless. And it's pointless because we didn't have anyone operating as a target man or poacher or aerial attacker. So the fact that he chose to cross even when there's no one to aim for in the box, says something.

Whilst I still think MasonG is best as a central forward, he is starting to make a serious claim to the right-wing position. Definitely looked more natural and potent compared to the few times JadonS was tried there. Still early days for the latter, but I do hope he starts contributing more to the team effort soon, with numbers to show.

Surprised it wasn't DeanH in goal - is he really still down for unknown reasons, or is there now some truth to the "big time charlie" claims about him? I thought TomH did quite well, especially towards the end.

I remember VictorL played pretty well (after taking some time to get used to the EPL) whilst on the left and paired with ChrisS. Really do think he deserves a chance to play there alongside RaphaelV, hope he gets an opportunity soon.

"drop Fred for Donny" is not an option
i dont think Ole will risk finding out if he is suitable as a 6 in PL or CL games.

this team took 27 shots and couldn't score. if not Donny will have more games to show if he can be an alternative to Fred.
